They're pretty thin and not the softest towel... I have 2 hanging in my kitchen and 2 in the bathroom to use as hand towels.. I would prefer a thicker, softer towel for hand towels but for the price it wasn't a bad buy. They also don't hold up great in the wash or dryer. After 1 wash the end of the towel where it meets the white fridge rope stuff at the end was already ripping out and I had to cut the string and knot it so it doesn't come completely apart.. after the 2nd wash I didn't even put them in the dryer, just hung them dry to not damage them further... I mostly like the design and how it spruced up the kitchen and bathroom. Overall I'd say it deserves 3 or 4 stars out of 5

These towels look great in my bathroom I recently painted it black and there towels are a nice touch.

I bought a couple of sets of these in the light gray and the aqua color to use in my real estate staging business. They look fantastic no matter how the home seller has decorated or if the property is empty and I'm doing light staging. They are shrink-sealed in a package for shipping so they'll need to have a hot iron taken to them if you plan to use them without washing, first. They are lightweight but they photograph great! Can't say enough about the price - you can't go wrong for four and often, with free shipping.

1) shortly after buying them: These are so not absorbent, it almost doesn't feel like cotton at all. I initially thought they may have been starched (they are kind of stiff right out the package), which makes them look nice to stage a bathroom or kitchen. Now, when it comes to actually using them, they are pretty useless. After washing them 2-3 times, they are still pretty much like a nylon fabric that doesn't dry absorbe anything at all. Maybe I need to wash them more?2) update: after about 6-8 washes and almost giving up, they are starting to look and feel more like cotton. Absorbency improved significantly. Despite they becoming softer, they don’t wrinkle as much as I feared. I changed my review from 2 to 5 starts. I’m baffled.

These are what I was looking for but I wouldn’t call them typical hand towels. They are more like dish towels. I am using them for staging but after I wash them they will definitely need to be ironed and will probably end up in my kitchen.They are a nice quality, soft and nicely finished. Not very absorbent.

These towels are nice for a powder room. I ordered the black, and they look just like the picture. They aren't very absorbent, and they are very thin, but they've held up well after a couple washes each. They become more absorbent as they are washed, but I wouldn't use these where heftier towels are needed (like in the kitchen, etc.).

Smaller then standard hand towel. Really thin material- not absorbent. Returned item.

Very nasty material not soft at allA lot smaller than they appear in the picture and the tassels also a lot shorter thus making the product look cheap

Very bad quality! I knew taking these out of the wrapper this purchase was a mistake. After one wash the threads were all tangled up and looked awful. Save your money!
