Moth's Delivery Service
This graphic novel tells the story of Moth Hush, an upbeat but lonely teenage outcast growing up in a small, tight-knit colonial town, who, shortly after turning thirteen, finds out she comes from a long line of witches. Her mother has eschewed magic, however, and is unwilling to talk to Moth about witchcraft, preferring to leave history behind. This is, of course, not acceptable to our teenage protagonist, who is only too eager to find out more about the place to which she might finally belong. Her exploration into the past spells out mostly trouble, though, and soon stirs up old grudges and grievances.Kiki's Delivery Service is my favorite Studio Ghibli movie (and also, if we're being honest, probably my favorite film full stop). I love pretty much everything about: from the story to the setting to the oh-so-lovable characters. It's a movie that perfectly showcases the kind of everyday, commonplace courage that Miyazaki is so fond of portraying.I got major Kiki vibes from The Okay Witch and that was the main reason I picked it up. And there are similarities, to be sure: they are both endearing and intensely charming stories about young women trying to figure out where they fit in the world. The Okay Witch does its own thing with the premise though, and tells an effective story about prejudice — and, indeed, pride — with characters who deal with the haunted past in varying ways: the townsfolk, who hold it to the highest regard; the witches, who, witnessed first hand the cracks in the form of bigotry and persecution, and understandably wish to leave it all behind; Moth's mother, Calendula, who believes in change above all.And then there is Moth, prepared to push the bad aside, yearning to embrace the good, and perfectly willing to build a better world out of it all. She's got the kind of courage to deliver it to us, too.

An OUTSTANDING Witch
I LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT MOTH HUSH! Her family and her familiar, her history and her humor, her witchery and her witching worlds. This is one beautifully written and exceptionally illustrated book that I would have read until it fell apart when I was Moth's age. Buying multiple copies for my classroom, because I expect my students will do the same!

Simply Magically Fun Read
This was a very adorable book and for sure worth every penny. The events are predictable at times though and for sure seem like many are a play off other movies and books, but for sure worth having and reading. Magical it is! I do hope we get more books like this.

8yo daughter LOVED this book!
I got this book for my daughter because another book I was looking to get was BOGO 1/2 off. My daughter loves graphic novel style books and this one looked like she'd enjoy it. She read it in maybe 2-3 days but only because I asked her to slow down. lol. She says all the time how she wishes there was a second book for this.

Beautifully illustrated.
A very cool book about heritage, magic, friendship and looking past old grudges or differences dependant on how you look at it. I love her strength her willingness to accept but also I am annoyed that once again the hero is the one who is shunned by everyone. There were a couple of cliches that I struggled with but overall loved this book.

The art is to die for
The story is really nice, but the selling point of this one, personally for me, is the really beautiful art from this artist.I would not mind reading more comics of this artist, it's just too much fun to see those drawings

Great book for 8 year old
8 year old girl loves these books. So much colourful artwork, and the stories are funny and entertaining. She will look through it once or twice, then start again and read it. Graphic novels are the best teaching aid for reading. She just loves them.

A very good book
I liked all the parts of the book because it sort of just sucked me in there and also, I’m a person who likes witches and wizards so I felt like it was a very good way to spend a Saturday afternoon! I would also like to recommend it to all the people who also like witches and wizards because it is a Fantasy book and a very good one! I choose five stars because I liked it a lot!
