I almost returned this because of the requirement to screw into the truck bed. I’m glad I thought it through.This is an excellent addition to a pick up truck for a convenient storage space within arms reach at the tailgate.I installed a side bed molle, I I did not use the bracket that holds the latch. Instead I kept the latch and connected it to a molle fastener. Works just the same.The plastic simple design makes itVersatile. I use it for things like netting, bungees, a tree hammock, carabiners, etc.Keeps them dry and out of the way.But you could easily fill it with ice and use as a cooler.If you need to use the bed space it is easy to remove. You can lock it or keep it unlocked and it will still fasten closed. There is an additional lock for the mount, so if your bed is open(no cover) you can lock it and a person cannot simply grab it off the hinge. Good value for the pricepoint.I definitely recommend this product.

The media could not be loaded. Put it on my 2024 sierra with multipro tailgate and carbon bed. No issues so it will work. I absolutely love it and it looks awesome and very useful.

I purchased this to keep straps and other items in one place and not cluttering up the bed. Works for what i wanted it for. I read reviews before i purchased it, so i knew what i was getting. Have to use self tapping screws which are provided to mount it. The lock that keeps it attached to the mounting bracket for removal looks like it could be defeated pretty easily but I have a tonneau so that doesn't matter. Very happy with it so far.

The box is great but there are many things I don't like about it and for $200+ I would not recommend it.1. It blocks the light for the bed.2. Because of how the bed is made it does not sit on top of the wheel well and you do loose a few inches of bed space. If you add both sides you loose a lot of bed sapce.Look at pictures.3. You can take it out of the bed and take it with you BUT... no handle to carry. This product claims to hold up to 75 lbs. I cannot imagine being able to load this with 75 lbs and not having some sort of handle to carry it out and since it has an odd shape it would be hard to carry.4. Locks are cheap. Not the quality expected on a $200+ box.5. Cup holders and tray are very shallow. You put any drink there and with any minimal movement it will fall.6. I'd you have a bed cover that you have to hook to the edge of the bed for it to close the box sits too high for the handle to clip onto the bed.Pros:1. Extremely easy install. 5-10 minutes max.2. Holds quite a bit of gear3. The swing out feature is great.UPDATE -After using this item for a few days I can confidently say that it is NOT WORTH IT!If you have a bed cover on your truck DO NOT BUY THIS! You would need to open the cover everytime you want to open the case. The cover get in the way when opening this item. It's just not worth the hazzle or the prize for something not too functional.

Great storage unit, my wife bought me one for valentines day and I liked it so much I bought the driver side swing case. The only thing is this one didn't have the pivot lock with it.

Really alot easier to install than the ones for my 2015. These were well thought out! The brackets line right up with the stamping in the bed of the truck and the hinge mount is even easier as it has a push pin to line up on the tail gate posts then you just use the self tapping screws that come with it to fasten it and the lock ends to the bed. You DO have to remove the assist handle on the drivers side of the bed to get the drivers side box on!! UPDATE: One thing I found out when Deer season opened. I always load my truck bed with three 94qt. Igloo Ice chest sitting side by side and load a 120qt. Across the back of those. I found out to get the three 94 qt. Chests loaded I had to take both swing out boxes out!!! I didn't notice it at first, but the boxes DO NOT recess in close enough to the inside of the bed and hang out beyond the wheel wells!!! I think on second thought that these could have been better designed to recess in more like they did on the earlier model Chevrolet/GMC's. I also have the multipro tailgate and they fit, they just need a better designed bracket to sit closer to the inside of the bed and not hang out over the wheel wells!

The concept of this is great but the design leaves a lot of room for improvement. It sticks entirely too far out into the bed from the side for my liking and the box could have been molded for much more storage space (but I get it, they use one box with different vehicle specific mounting brackets). The lid was slightly bowed downward in the middle leaving the left and right sides of the lid slightly up and not sitting flush when closed. The brackets attaching the box to the swing bracket could have been better. Time will tell on quality but I don’t see the plastic lasting long at the bracket mounting points if it’s filled to max weight. It should serve my purposes well as I don’t have maybe half the rated weight in it but a daily contractor expecting to fill it to the brim…be warned! This could be much better with a few simple design changes to the brackets. For $200+, I expected more… I don’t plan to return it though. However, I also won’t be purchasing the 2nd driver side box as I don’t think they’re worth the price for what you get.
