Top Notch Quality and Value
I was skeptical of what I might receive for such a competitively low price. However, the construction of this weatherproof electric plug-in box meets all of my expectations. Nice mostly metal construction, well-made plug-in. My only criticism is that the clips that allow the box to stay closed are made of plastic. Granted, it seems to be thick and sturdy, but I would rather that they be made of metal, preferably aluminum or stainless. But, for the price, I can’t complain.

Not deep enough
The product is fine so long as you're not going to close the lid with a cord plugged in. The product is designed with. That intent and has cut outs for the detention cords. Nice.but the lid crushes the cord at the top of the plug. Not good. Another 1/4 or so depth inside the lid could solve this issue. As far as keeping the inside dry it does a good job and looks fine. Only issue I have is cord space inside the lid cover. 4 stars

Good quality weatherproof outlet
This is a great quality aluminum weatherproof outlet. I love that you can have things plugged in while it's closed to protect the outlet inside. Only one gripe was there was not instruction on how to screw this against my deck. Ended up just drilling some small holes on the inside which was simple.

Good value for a water resistant kit
It's a nice metal kit, with plenty of room to run thick cords while keeping water out in use. My only complaint is the outlet. First, it's an almond color. I'd prefer gray, but white would be acceptable and expected. Why almond? Secondly, I thought my outlet was defective because the green status light wouldn't come on. Plugged in something to check and both outlets work. Red LED also works, so guess I got a dud device. I'll wait and see how long it survives in use. Not about to uninstall it and send it back just for the outlet, but that's the one part that should work. Better quality checks should be done.

Lid is not water tight, no seal, I drilled a small hole in the bottom to let any water that gets in drain out.

Protects from bumps,rain,bugs,rodents etc.....Thank you-may buy more for this farm use.

I use these to create weather protected soffit outlets for XMAS lights using Decora plugs. I highly recommend them.

It is very robust, comes with GFCI outlet, which is usually expensive itself. Very bulky and I have no idea why the holes for mounting screws requires punching through. Good buy overall
