Failure rate
Bought 3 sets as I like to have spare batteries charged so am not stopping work waiting on fresh battery. First set failed and wouldn't work - period. Even with fresh battery it lit up to show function but had no luck in turning the chuck. Next 2 sets, the drill has failed in similar fashion and when it meets with fairly minimal resistance, the chuck stops rotating. These last two work eventually and sometimes start by manually turning the end. I only paid about £45 a set but they are not value for money. Now only buy Makita drills as they are reliable. 18V batteries on Guild drill as fairly good but the drill itself is pants! Only lightish usage, not trade or continual use by myself. For 3/3 to fail must point to lack of quality.....
