Heschen Universal Rotary Cam Selector Changeover Switch SZW26-20/D202.2 660V 20A ON-OFF-ON 3 Position 2 Phase 8 Terminals

Used to alternately switch power between two 12v TVs from a single power stabiliser adaptor. The details of the product does not make clear that it's fine to use this for low voltage applications, but it certainly is (and has worked as above in my caravan really well). It's a very solid bit of kit too and is easily fitted and looks great when installed. Many reviewers here state the instructions too basic to understand, but I can't really see this argument given a simplistic yet idiot proof diagram is provided showing exactly what switching connections are achieved in the three switch positions (the mid position denoting all connections being off). It's a bargain and I'm really pleased...

Am using this to switch supplies to garden lighting between On, Off and PIR-switched. Simple to fit in a softwood box with c 5mm walls but I needed to use shorter bolts than supplied for this shallow depth. These are the four small M5 bolts that penetrate the mounting surface to attach the face plate. Best to solder wires to the supplied connection spades. I tried crimping at first unsuccessfully – I don't think it's designed for crimping: what look like crimping tags on the spades I think instead are there to hold in place the insulation sleeve, which they do well. I wired up this switch easily, feeling confident the connections were both tight and well insulated. I needed a circuit tester, and pen and paper to quickly sketch out how the switch worked and how to wire its terminals for my purposes.

I wanted this to replace the Fwd/Off/Reverse switch on my little lathe, Would be 5 stars if a wiring diagram was included!

Does exactly what its supposed to. Wiring was a bit tricky but I just copied a yt video. Looks smart and works perfectly. Used to swap between 12v system running off ecoflow delta 2 and festool batteries (stepped down).

Well made product, but missing the bolts to connect the front plate to the body of the switch. No option via the post sales interface to raise this as a fault with the purchase, other than requesting a return of the entire item, which is more hassle than it's worth.
