The tool kit is exactly what I expected it to be. Quality pieces that hold up with lots of use. Great as a first toolkit for toddlers.

I’m writing this review a year after purchasing this for my son. We absolutely love this tool set! I gave it to him for his 1st birthday, since at the time he was fascinated with projects we were doing around the house. He would carry this little toolbox around with him and “help” with whatever we were putting together or fixing. Now that he’s 2, he’s even MORE interested in mimicking our movements and actions. He’s also more aware of what each tool’s purpose is; for example, when one of his toys ran out of batteries the other day, he came running up to me with his little screwdriver to fix it. 😅 The hammer is also a great tool for pounding toys when you lose the hammer it came with! And, when you’re trying to put something together but your fussy toddler wants to do it too, just hand them one of their tools so they can participate. Stops the whining and you can get the job done! 😅 These tools have all held up well to teething. They’re perfect for small hands, and not too heavy or too hard. He still hasn’t quite figured out how to squeeze the handle on the drill to make it move, but that one’s tough even for me. I highly recommend this set for babies and toddlers!!! Learning Resources is a FANTASTIC brand. We also have Spike the Fine Motor Hedgehog, the ring stacker moose, and the 3-in-1 building robot; all of which are designed well and grow with your child as they develop new skills. Great little gift from a ittle boy!

And he loves it!! They are really great for "helping" around the house. I didn't realize it but they are primarily a soft plastic, kinda rubbery, which is wonderful if little fingers get caught. One qualm is I wish the tool box was a little bigger, it doesn't hold all the tools without them falling out which my son does become frustrated with. I solved this by giving him a large plastic zipper bag and labeling the toys and keeping them inside the tool box. They don't fall out, all the pieces stay together, and we can go on with our day happily. Pros: Little one LOVES it!! Plastic/rubbery my tot can't hurt himself Realistic looking tools Fun colors NO plastic smell No assembly required Delivery was quick!! Cons: All the tools won't fit in the tool box, a little ingenuity is required lest your tot becomes disgruntled......like mine...

I liked that it only had a few pieces. Easy to carry around for play and easy to clean up once the day is done. Good quality, colors are bright and pleasing. Overall great purchase.

Perfect for my 15 month old! Absolutely age appropriate! I couldn’t find any others like this. They’re nice, soft but hard, don’t break, and affordable. Definitely like!!

This tool kit is so cute! The tools are sturdy and easy for little hands to grab. I also really love that it comes with a little toolbox to store and carry the tools in. I bought this as a gift, but I'm now adding it to my own baby registry!

What a fantastic set! On first look, it did appear a little expensive for a plastic tool set, BUT it is so much more than just a plastic tool set. The saw has a rubbery blade on it, the screwdriver has a softer rubbery tip so no damage or hurt can be done. The tool box is rounded and smooth, no harsh plastic edges. The drill makes a clicking sound too. Can't recommend this product enough. We've brought it for our 1 year old as he loves Daddy's tool kit and he now has his own.
