Bunny-lure works great!
Amazing stuff! The cute little bunny who'd been decapitating my sunflowers ran right in the trap for a little dish of spinach leaves with Ramik icky-goo on them. But the trap didn't shut! I oiled the hinges the next day, and BAM! Trapped the beast! I took him for a ride...

Difficult to Use and Completely Ineffective
I have to think back to 1967 and my ill-advised purchase of an Alfa Giulia Super to recall a more disappointing product. It is almost impossible to get into my Havahart trap if applied as directed, even a little rain dissolves it away, in warm weather it dries out, and, most importantly, squirrels ignore it even if attractively arranged on a pile of black oil sunflower seeds and corn topped with an apple slice garnished with half an ounce of this product (per instructions). They don't even give it a sniff. They simply hop up onto the trap and use it as a launchpad to our bird feeder--filled with the same bird food mix I used as bait.

Try peanut butter instead
My squirrels liked regular peanut butter better than Neogen.

Seems to work
Rabbits in my area breed like rabbits. I catch and turn loose in a nearby canyon. I was baiting with various veggies but sometimes took two or three days to trap rabbits (twelve so far). If I smear some of this lure on lettuce I usually have my rabbit the next morning. I assume the lure odor is helping. Last night I saw a rabbit near my shed and set up my trap with this stuff. After supper I went out to lock the shed and low and behold I already had my rabbit before it even got dark. I'm a believer. It works!

Don't bother. Use peanut butter instead.
Squirrels walk and run right by it. I have it sitting in a trap right outside of a nest area. Doesn't do anything. Just use peanut butter. What a waste of money.

Did not attract squirrels to my live traps at my home in Central Texas
Squirrels in central Texas do not prefer this, even with added enhancements like peanut butter, bacon bits, even hot dog chunks. I won't buy it again. The squirrels where you live might be less picky.
