Sometimes cost is NOT a factor
Having dependable power for cordless home phones is more important than the cost of batteries. The previous batteries (also Panasonic Ni-MH Rechargeables) lasted eight years. The last time I tried a cheaper Chinese battery (in a different device, but similar usage) it lasted six months. A phone is not something that you want to die on you in the middle of a conversation.

Works well with my old Panasonic...
These recharge batteries saved me from a blackoutwith my old P-cordless home phone. They work welland recharge very quickly. I let them go when I threwout my old cordless; and got a new ATT phone.

I give up
This is the THIRD time I ordered these batteries, the first time from a different seller. The batteries I got lasted for the most part between two to four weeks. I don't use the landline much at all. The ones I had before lasted me months, maybe even years. I can't even remember when I bought them. So when the "new" batteries died, I ordered from another seller. This time, I tested the batteries, and although they were still "good", on the battery tester, they barely passed the green "good" mark, never making it to even the half-way or one-third mark. So I returned them for a replacement, which I got today. The same thing. These also barely make it to the one-quarter mark, although one did make it almost to the half-way mark. I am keeping them, because it is now becoming a hassle to return. I don't know where these sellers got their batteries--probably from the same wholesaler--but they are not as "new" as I would like. But I need these batteries because I have multiple handsets and more than half need new batteries. I am not sure where I'll go to try to get the batteries to replace these, which I am sure will be soon.

Charge Right out of the Box
I bought these for my sister. She wanted 6 batteries and not more, since she has 3 phones that require the battery. She also liked that as soon as she installed them, the clarity on the phones improved immensely. She was very happy from the get-go.
