1462 Motorcycle Handlebar Accessory: Universal Drink/Cup Holder with Mesh Basket for Clutch/Brake Perch Mount, Chrome

I own two of these cup holders. This version with the mount through the clutch/brake screws is on my 2006 Honda GL1800 Goldwing. My second one is mounted with the handle bar clamp mount on my 2010 Kawasaki Nomad 1700. It looks great and is very sturdy. It has rubber numbs along the cup ring so that it will securely hold cups with various diameters. When it's installed it is position on both bikes so that it does not interfere with the steering or gas tank on either of my motorcycle models. I have both installed on the left side so my right hand is always on the throttle and front brake even when using cruise control. The basket makes this cup holder even more universal to hold sunglasses, keys, even the gas cap when getting gas when the I don't have a cup in it. The first time I looked at this product in the package at a Bike Week Vendor, I thought it was way too big. But once I installed it the cup holder it grew on me and then over time as I saw the different drink sizes that would fit - then I knew it was the only way to go. It does seem expensive but this item proved over time is is well worth the value.

I'm very pleased with this cup holder. Several people I know have this which is why I bought it. None of them have had problems with it, so I felt confident in buying it. I have ridden 6000 miles with it attached to my handlebars and it works great! It's very sturdy and has a tight grip on my cup. It's very easy to just lean over and sip through a straw and stay hydrated all day, which makes a huge difference when riding on those 500+ mile days. I have ridden all over the country in the last 15 years and now I'm kicking myself for waiting so long to buy this! I do think it's on the pricey side, but I would still say it's well worth it.

The 1462 cup holder was easy to install but I had to shift my controls down slightly to try to get the cup holder more level. This wasn't an issue for me and I like the controls (turn, horn, cruise etc.) better in this position than where they were initially. I also like the clutch lever being up a little higher as well as it is easier to reach. I did reposition the right side controls to match as well. Cup holder was a little tight for the insulated cup I have so I did cut the rubber nubs back 1/2 way to make it easier to get the cup in and out. Still holds the cup snug and it stays in place well.

This is a very sturdy drink holder. I mounted mine on the clutch side (perch Mount). It kinda sits close to the rider and does not sit perfectly level. I had this problem on my Last bike(2015 Street Glide) but I was fine with it, I only put it on when I need it which I like about it also.I might try flipping it upside down and see what it looks like.Anyway I like it just wish it would sit level.

This is a great cup holder, sturdy, and nice looking. It will accommodate a large variety of cups. Be aware though that the only mount that will come with this product is the clutch/brake holder. The "product feature" section on Amazon says that is will fit 1" bars, 1 1/4" bars, and clutch/brake. You only get the mount option shown in the main description. When I called the company, they were very nice and explained this to me, as well as offered several options for correcting the issue (I want to mount to a 1" bar) including a refund. Ironically, after messing with the product, I realized that this was actually the one I needed, problem solved.

This device was super easy to install and only took a few minutes to do so. Riding in this Texas heat and drought can be brutal. I am able to put a 32 oz water bottle with a flip straw so it closes when not needed. The holder allows me to stay hydrated without using a camel back water dispenser. It stays out of the way and if you wanted to remove it, a simple wing type nut can be removed quickly. Definitely worth the time and money.

Have bought several of these over the years. Always had good luck with them. I think that most all KuryAkyn products are overpriced but quality has always been consistent. No complaints.

The cup holder works great. Fits most drink containers and holds them sturdy. My previous cup holder had a ball clamp so it could rotate. But I could never get it tight enough to not move all over the place, with constant adjustment from my Harley vibration. This cup holder is sold and looks great. Still a little pricy, but I'm okay with it.

Was exactly what I was looking for. Bought it as a present for my boyfriend who owns a Harley. He was so happy with it. Passed the boyfriend challenge.

I purchased it for my Yamaha Royal Star venture...It's very strong, fits well but the mounting bolt is rusting a little bit which is very disappointing considering how much I paid, but other than that it's very well made..
