The hooks are easy to use and the padding on them is very comforting to these arthritic fingers. These hooks are really comfortable to work with. I've done about 20 rows of an afghan thus far and compared to my old, standard metal hook, I'm now in heaven! Soft grip, with a decent sized hook. For some applications, the hook might be a little short. When I do a bobble stitch which requires 7 loops on the hook at once, it fills it up. But then again, its the perfect size for that and they don't slide further down the needle, which is a plus. So I've very happy with how they are working. Colors are nice, but unlike others, I very much doubt I'll remember size by color - my memory is just not that good! But the colors are bright and cheerful nonetheless. I haven't had long enough to speak to durability over the long haul, but they feel sturdy and well made. No issues thus far.

I have multiple sclerosis so my hands are weaker than they used to be. Having a soft, comfortable grip on a tool like a crochet hook is important for me to be able to enjoy myself. I am finding these crochet hooks easy to work with and have already made a small item for a friend. Plus, the person who sells them send me a conversion chart so I can go from the metric measurement on these hooks to the standard US hooks with ease.

VERY poor quality. If I could give no stars, I would. Strongly recommend not buying these from any of the many sellers who are offering them. As others have mentioned, I believe that they are all the same brand and all manufactured in the same facility. See pictures. I'm not going to go through the hassle of a return but maybe this is what the sellers of these hooks count on to keep making sales? I wonder how many others have bought these and just gave a big sigh, never posted a review and never sent back?I sent an email response to the seller via the email that was sent to me by them. Have not heard back yet:Three hooks out of the set are defective - the 5.5 mm hook is completely unusable due to sharp tooling marks on the hook. The 6mm has a spot that is sharp and snaggy where the plating is popped off. The 4mm hook has very poor plating with roughness that snags the yarn. Quality of the hooks is really not very good as it looks like poorly plated cheap metal on all of them. If the plating holds on the remaining hooks with use, they are comfortable to hold so at least that is one nice thing I can say about them.Seems this is a lesson for me that you really do get what you pay for, it is not really worth the effort or hassle to step through the whole return process on Amazon, especially since I may well end up with a set worse than this one since the quality control process doesn't seem to be very high.

I am pleasantly surprised at just how much I do like these hooks. I own my own crochet business, and crochet at least 12 hours a day. My hands cramp, and arthritis affects me. I was blessed to have a friend surprise me with a Clover hook, and wanted a set of them, but I can't afford to pay $70 at this point. I saw these and took a chance, hoping I wouldn't be disappointed. While they are not AS soft as the clover hook, they are soft, and after using one all day yesterday, I can honestly say that my hands don't hurt at all today. I read the other reviews, and saw that some say the neck of the hook is short to them, but it's negligible compared to my name brand hook. These are a perfect alternative to the name brands, and also the customer service is top notch. ONe of the hooks was bent, and when I contacted the company to see if I could have it replaced, they offered to send me a new set.I highly recommend these to any hooker!!

i purchased this EpicBelle Crochet Hooks: (9pcs ergonomic crochet hook set) for my wife. I saw her crochet baby stuffs for donation and wanting her to have comfort grip handles. She has so many hooks and does not look comfort when she does her crochet. This hooks were better then I expected. I have brought some cheap hooks that, did the job but, didn't wow me. These hooks were cheap and I expected the same, however, they are now my favorite set of hooks. The handles are great, the size is engraved in, and not printed, so you won't lose the size after you use them several times. I love them, and I am now on here to order a second set to travel with.

I have been crocheting for a few years. I've used different hooks along the journey, woods, steel, aluminum, plastic. The best test for a hook in my opinion, is to crochet an afghan or blanket. I recently used hooks from this EpicBelle set to crochet an afghan for a friend. The hooks were very comfortable. They were easy to find my "comfort zone" , and after awhile even warming in my hand. They were a GREAT buy when I bought them too! I definitely would give them a try if you have issues with your hands being tired, or pain while crocheting, and even if you don't, they're pretty!
