Hat To SocksWool Blend French Beret for Men and Women in Plain Colours

Love, love, love!! Soft material, perfect fit, even for my small head - exactly what I was looking for! Bought this in the cream color and it went perfectly with all of my outfits for a Euro trip, and I received quite a few compliments. I love the neutral color and the quality of the material. It kept me warm during the chilly evenings and the cold days. I'm going to buy a few more in different colors. Very nice. Color good. I think there will be some pilling as it's knitted and not felted. But for $8 you cannot beat this beret. Fits very well. I will be ordering more in different colors.

Very disappointed. This hate is very shallow and cannot cover both my ears and my forehead. I have never had any trouble finding hats that fit so I feel certain that this hat just runs small. It is also is see through because the fabric is so thin. I can't imagine it is warm at all. A waste of time and money, will be returning.

I was a little concerned when I ordered this. I have a large head, and I saw that others who have gotten this said they have big heads and it didn't fit. The Hat is wonderful, though. It's no more or less snug than most of my other hats. I get compliments all day when I have it on. It is pilling a little, but I'm OK with it. For what it is and for what I paid, I'm extremely pleased. It's not super high quality, like some of the Berets on Amazon, but it's also not $40+ I definitely plan on buying more and some in different colors.

The color of the hat received versus how it's actively advertised are totally different. The teal is advertised as a bright color, more on the light blue side. The hat received is visibly more green. It should still work for Halloween, and is a nice product, but I'm rather disappointed that the color is not as pictured. I've included a comparison shot abd a solo shot of the hat I received.

I wore this little red chapeaux for my Suzy costume from Moonrise Kingdom. Very poor quality. Super thin and cheap wool was excruciatingly scratchy. I’ve never met a hat I didn’t love until now. Returned it. Can buy better quality for same price elsewhere. Wore it only a few hours and couldn't wait to send it back.

Definitely not "One Size" unless for children. So small could barely get it on my normal-size head. But quality is fine & color is true, exactly as pictured.

The hat itself is fine and fits, but as soon as I pulled it out of the package a strong musty attic smell came out. It still smells bad, and is very strong. Not a smell I thought I would have to deal with having it being brand new. But it smells like it’s been stored in a musty box in an attic somewhere for way too long. I hope the smell goes away. This was for my daughter.

This beret is so cute and I don’t know if just my head is too much on the big side (I am a very intelligent, IQ 160 and have lots of brain mass which might explain this) but the rim squeezes my tender skull with one hell of a death grip. I wish there was an option for a size up as I want to wear this out and about during my springtime walks in the local nature reserve/crackhead alleys but I fear now that a slight gust of wind could send the beret flying or that wearing this for more than a few minutes could give me a crippling tension headache.

Dont worry about the fit. It’s fine. The material is thin and doesn’t feel like wool. As a student, it’s fine, but if I were more of a grown up who wore high quality clothing, I’d be disappointed. If I saw it in a shop, I’d pay no more than £5.

This beret fitted the bill (or the garden scarecrow) perfectly. It is good quality for the price paid as it is quite thick material. We bought it to decorate our evacuee (and Spiv) for VE day celebrations. I did try it on and it fits well and doesn't ping off your head. It weathered well in all conditions over a week in the garden and hasn't faded. Washed on cool wool wash in machine (on its own) and it didn't shrink and the colour is fine.

This is a comment about delivery rather than the product on the off-chance that the company will take note:I ordered two identical berets at the same time and paid for them together. I can't fault the product or the speed, but how odd a little cloth hat should arrive in a massive cardboard box which is big enough for (...hmm... grasps for a comparison...) two monopoly sets or half a dozen cricket bats or ten baguettes, and stuffed with a huge swathe of paper to fill the space. And what's more, I was sent TWO of these big boxes (which arrived together,) each one containing just one hat.Seems like an odd financial decision for the company, and surely a really bad one environmentally.

I first bought a beige/cream beret to match with neutral look last year, and I loved it!This year I wanted something bright and cheerful so I bought red and I love this one too!The quality is just right its not too thick and heavy but still keeps the head warm. I would say I have a very small head and the fit is great. Can easily dress up or down. I might buy another one in a few months time....!! Much prefer to buy wool from here rather than cheap high street shops or overpriced “designer”. This companys a dream!
