NIrV, Faithgirlz! Bible, Revised Edition, eBook

I am appalled that the language has been changed from "Adam laid with Eve" to Adam and Eve made love. This bible is for young girls and I think this is completely inappropriate wording. The original NIV bible did not say made love.

I bought this for 10 year old granddaughter, loved this so much I am buying one for myself. The format and color theme is so positive and uplifting.You will not be disappointed !! Perfect for both young girlz and a few old ones too.

This is a beautiful Bible, but it's very advanced for my 10 year old daughter. I will hold onto it for when she is older and can follow it better.This was reccommended to me by our youth pastor but when I read it with my daughter, she gets upset that she can't follow it.In other words, this Bible has not been made easier for children to understand.As I said, I'm sure she will love it in future years.She does love the Faithgirlz Journal very much so she uses that now and takes it to church every Sunday.

I absolutely love this Bible for my teen daughter. I really want to buy one for myself.

My granddaughter is 12 and this is perfect for her. Some of the other teen bibles discussed things she wasn’t experiencing yet. I really liked this because it wasn’t too young but it wasn’t too old for her age group either

I bought 2 of these Bibles for my granddaughters. They are 8 and 11 and they were thrilled to each have their own Bible. Not only is it the entire NIV Bible, but it has special sections of stories that will relate to girls this age. A wonderful way to bring God into their lives!

We had seen the Faith Girlz Bible at a Christian book store. The price here was much better. I honestly have to say I may not have bought it if I hadn't already been able to flip thru it and see for myself how great it really is. Not only does it have all the Bible in it, but there are little tidbits of knowledge throughout to get young girls thinking about how their lives relate to the ladies in the Bible. Thankful we picked this up for an Easter gift for our 9yr old. You won't regret buying it.

Really nice. The font is a purple and dark hot pink. Hard for my eyes but my girl loves it. It has added commentary for personal introspection that is separated in boxes so it clearly not part of the Bible. My daughter was so excited to read it and bring it into church. I only wish the Bible were not hardcover. I would pay much more for leather. I am concerned my daughter will eventually rip a cover off. But, I knew before I bought so I am not removing stars. Would buy again.

My 11 year old was previously using a children's Bible, which was ace, but she was now ready to follow along in church (hence wanting NIV) but still wanted something "funky" and a Bible she would feel was really hers. This ticks all the boxes. She hasn't stopped reading it since it arrived two days ago! She proudly carried it to church this morning and followed all the readings. I love all the extra parts aimed so well at teenagers. Fab BIble and highly recommended!

Quick delivery and as described. Really impressed with this Bible, bought for my daughter. Really well put together amongst the NIV scripture its very "Hip" for todays girlz! with captions "oh, I get it!" and "bring it on!" giving a full explanation of what the chapters and books are about. Love "Treasure this" little captions of verses to learn.The bible includes questions/answers and encourages to read the Bible in a year. I also bought from Amazon a case to go with it....[ Bible Cover Microfibre Zip Daisy Pink Me (To Fit Bibles Up to 224mm X 156mm)] Both Highly recommended.

Great bible for my 10 year old. Looks great and all the little extra features help guide her through. My only issue is e thinness of the pages.

This has grown with our oldest daughter who received it when she learned to read at 7, and she is now 10. Our middle daughter also now has the same Bible and her older sister is showing her how to use it.This bible is fun enough for a young reader, yet grown up enough to use it up into their teens. My oldest loves the little blips and bits on the sides and is getting old enough to really appreciate them.Great product... Keep it in a case though to keep it lasting a long time with kids! ;)

I love this Bible! I have not seen how the girl I bought it for uses it, but before handing it over I took the time to read many of the features and I think they are great. The different features help to break down big ideas, relate people and stories to everyday life and problems, and give you the basics on learning how to study the bible. Yes it is a great book for a young girl, it would also be great for someone brand new to christianity and the bible.

Favorite thing about this Bible is that it is a complete, unabridged, non-simplified Bible. RNIV is great translation for kids. Colourful cover and pages appeal to girls. My daughter (9 y/o) is really enjoying the added features that help explain some passages, give background on the book or the author, and relate what she's reading to real life. Anything that gets her reading scripture is a win.

It's an amazing Bible for girls who haven't begun reading the Bible yet. It comes with interesting snippets here and there and I gifted it to someone and they love it!

Loved it! She’s 6 and in grade one and needed it for school. She loves it. IJust wish they would ship me the case I bought for it.

Although this may be a good bible for young girls, according to the ad on amazon, this bible does not come complete with maps as stated. Very disappointing when you want to teach the younger generation about biblical history.

The bible is in very good condition.. only some notes here and there... we loved it..

Great value for the money. My daughter loved it. Just that the sewing wasn't so tight the back came off sooner than expected. But overall it was great!

This Bible was perfect for my 9 year old daughter. It is "big girl" enough for her to feel excited and colourful and interactive enough to keep her interest. A great step for the little lady looking to increase her walk with the Lord!

A great bible. My girls love it. Nicely made, and lots of good content. Not a huge fan of some of the goofy pronoun changes though
