Silicone Sling

This is the most versatile pressure cooker accessory I’ve ever seen, and the one I use almost every time I cook. It’s a trivet, a sling and an egg steamer all in one. What’s more, it excels at all 3 tasks. How many items can you say that about?It is about 1” tall, and can easily be placed either in the bottom of the pot or on top of solid food like chicken, beef or pork. Some trivets have grids that are so open almost everything falls through them but not this one. Asparagus and green beans sit easily on the grid. As a sling, it really holds my PIP containers securely, with no wobble or worries they’ll fall out of it while I’m transferring hot food from pot to table. After lowering it into my IP I clip the handles closed. It’s easy to lift it out when cooking is done. Finally, it holds eggs either upright or on their sides. If I’m cooking more than half a dozen, I can stack them in layers, just as with my mesh steamer basket.Bottom line, this is simply the best IP accessory I’ve ever seen, and this one fits my 3qt Mini. Just buy it already!

This silicone tray allows me to use a small canning water bath pot. I love it because there is very little clean up.

I bought the larger size for my 6qt Instant Pot. I use it to hard boil my eggs. It works great. I can fit seven eggs without them making contact. Set it for 8 minutes, Immerse them in cold water when done and the shells peel off like butter. Start with about 5 minutes for soft boiled eggs and adjust to your taste, although the shells can be just a bit sticky with for soft boiled eggs. Hands down, the Instant Pot is the best way to make hard boiled eggs.It's easy to clean; just throw it on the top rack in the dishwasher. The only issue I have is I wish the handles were a bit shorter because you have to spread both handles apart to place eggs on it and it is a bit cumbersome to hold both handles apart with one hand.I have not tried it with any other applications yet, but it appears plenty sturdy enough to handle other tasks.

Works great for what I needed. I cut the straps off and then I can put this in my air fryer to raise the bottom up so my toast will cook faster. Works great in my small 6.3 basket. You have to scrunch it up a little but then it stays in place, kind of stuck to the sides at whatever level you need. Great hack.

We had a different silicone sling for our pressure cooker, but loaned it and it never returned, so we were in need of a replacement! While I was a bit reluctant to get this one as I hadn't heard of the company, ultimately I decided to take a chance - and I'm glad I did!This is a great silicone trivet/sling. We use it in our Ninja Foodi regularly, and have had no issues with it. The handle is easy to use and attaches to itself simply, and lifts with little give in the trivet portion, so you don't have to worry about anything collapsing or losing any food.Cleanup is nice and easy, though I would caution that you definitely need to to a pre-wash of it with a sponge or brush before it goes in the dishwasher. Otherwise you may have some staining on the silicone - but even with that, it cleans up to a brand new appearance after the fact! Great item!
