Very easy!
I measured myself at a 20 and decided to go for the larger 22. Still a bit tight.Looser is better.But VERY useful and easy.

Heads up: Use measurements, not sizes & previous sewing experience is required!
The pattern itself can result in a beautiful costume. The pattern sewing directions are very confusing. If I had not already had extensive experience with using patterns, I don't know that I could have put the costume together with the instructions provided. Also, the size chart is a joke. Luckily, I already knew that the size charts were unreliable. I usually wear a size 14 but according to this pattern chart, I wear a 22. And yes, I was using the US sizing chart.

Beautiful pattern
I love this coat. I use upholstery fabric for this style costuming and it was still easy to use with the napped layout.
