This world development is out of bounds.
We leave the comfort of our Dear Protagonist and his Gang, but don't worry, we still gonna enjoy some awesome dialogue and Funny jokes, damn, this is one hell of a world to live in.

Level of detail 👌👌👌
Compared to the anime and the manga the level of detail is amazing. Listened to the audiobooks up this point and wasn't sure how I'd enjoy the series without narration but its as good if not better if you prefer reading to listening

The story is getting better
The story is taking some interesting turns with this book, it develops more characters not just for Aims, but in this case Sebas and few other secondary characters. This book is a lot better than part 4. I nearly dropped this series after taking a hard time reading book 4, but this is better in every way.

Sebas, Climb and Gazef shine in this volume! Can't wait for volume 6!!!
If you are looking for more sausage from Ainz in this book, you won't see it. This volume instead concentrates on developing some of the minor characters in the Overlord universe. And I found it to be quite entertaining as more information on lesser characters is something that many authors fail to include in their stories. But Kugane-sama is very good at fleshing out secondary or even tertiary characters in such a way as to really give you an excellent feel for the world that he has created. A rare talent for most authors. This merely adds more to how much I can recommend this series to others. Not to mention that I love the fact that this series is being published in a hardcover format that looks beautiful sitting on my bookshelf. My sole complaint is how far behind the Japanese releases this series is for English readers, especially since volume 12 has just been released in Japan. At least Yen On has been fairly regular in their releases of the English volumes at about one every four months, but I do wish that they would hasten their output.

I love this series and the author!
I love this author, he does a really good job of character and world building. I am really looking forward to the conclusion of this books story-line in book 6, and the way the developed Sebas's character was great. I thought that he might have a harder time fitting the stereotypical mold we have seen from Nazaricks NPC's. It was very interesting to read and I can't wait to read the rest. That being said it would be really awesome for the author to give us more detail about Ainz's days in the game world, Ygdrassil. It isn't a necessity since I think he has a lot going on in the current plot, but I am very curious.

👍💯
Great fantasy horror, action, and adventure with lots of funny and surprising moments, especially with the princess she mostly seems like a good person but also has a much darker side at the same time.

I find the lack of time spent in Ainz samas shoes to be a tear filled experience
If I'm being honest, this book in the series has me skipping a lot of pages when I re-read the series, which I do religously. The series earns a 10/10 5 star rating from me in all aspects. But I find the lack of time spent in Ainz samas shoes to be a tear filled experience. This book spends a lot of its time observing lower life forms, however if you like Sebas, he appears a lot.The physical quality of the books is amazing, I'm getting all the books in hardcopy because they just look great. Get all the books because they're great, just do it.

Unexpected excitement
I don't like reading books on a media device. I love paper. Even though I love the feel of paper. I'm not a reader. Very few books have been read by my self. The overlord series is.... Different.I got into this from discovery of its Anime series. I was hooked so badly I wanted more. Finished the first season and because I couldn't wait for the second one in 2018. I looked for the manga. Really enjoyed that too. But now I still hunger for more. Since at the time of this review. There was only 6 manga available. I need to find another source. After discovery of the light novels. I started from scratch and bought the first four books. I couldn't put the books down. Solid three to fours hours of reading at a time. Every page filled me with excitement. Needing more. A feeling which makes me want to stamp my feet if I can't read another page or working in the rain in the north Sea oil rigs. Thinking how long I've got until I finish shift to read the next page. Almost a longing love waiting to come through the door. I will be buying the next novel after this review is written.Kugane Maruyama, if you read this. Thank you. Your long weekends writing this Novel wasn't a waste. A large midriff is a sign of wealth and you my friend have a wealthy imagination. Keep up the good work. Can't wait to read the remaining novels.

Great but wish it didn't leave such a cliff hanger
Started really slow at one stage I thought i got the wrong book. Its basically a side stoy of one of two other chars while the boss is away but it is interesting and it leaves it in such a cliff hanger I want the other book. So my suggestion is to wait for the second book before you get this as you will want to read the second one right away.
