Great Apple Picker
Works a treat: Reaches apples in awkward positions, it is sturdy and of very good quality. Just find an extendable strong pole. Thanks.

Works well
For all types of high reach fruit picking , apples, pears plums etc this device is ideal . Providing that the fruit is ready to pull off the prongs at the top do the plucking and the fruit then falls into the basket for safe retrieval.

Good saw, but know it's limitations
It's a really good saw, but you must be aware of its limitations: 1. The thinnest top section of the Docapole is really only good for thin (less than 3/4") branches. Try to extend the lower sections only for thicker branches. 2. Be patient when cutting larger branches. It takes time to get through them. 3" is the top end of the size range. Your arms need to be fit! 3. Watch out when handling that saw, stuck on the end of a long pole. Remove the saw when not cutting. It's really sharp! 4. Coat the saw blade with WD40 after use.

Apple picker worked well
Worked well ...fixed onto an extendable decorating pole... the jubilee clip on the base of the basket made sure it was a nice tight fit. Happy with this product as there was no way we could reach the top of a very mature apple tree that really produced a lot of fruit this year. Definitely recommend.

Handy for very limited situations.
It’s ok for sturdy branches that do not have much flexibility. The teeth are very sharp, but If the branches have any movement, this just pushes them forward and backwards and doesn’t cut very well. I’m guessing a chain saw on an extending pole would work better for hard to reach flexible branches.

No comparison to cheaper looking saws
The Go Saw is far more expensive than similar looking saws that I’ve seen in retail park stores but the Go Saw has the screw end that fits onto the Doca Pole already built into the handle and the blade is incredibly sharp. I’ve used the Go Saw to cut through 150mm diameter branches 4 metres off the ground. It takes a few minutes of practice to perfect the technique required to use the saw and it’s essential not to extend the top, thin section, of the pole because it may well bend or break. Applying WD40 to the blade before and after use stops the blade from sticking part way through the cut and prevents corrosion when not in use. Highly Recommended
