Lasted 1 year and two months
This review is for a DTK replacement laptop battery for a HP Probook 640 G1I was fooled by the brand, thinking it was the same Hong Kong / Taiwan DTK that had been around since 1981. Sadly, I now realize that company disappeared around 2009 and the use of the letters is apparently up for grabs. It was a good battery with proper capacity when it was new, although the fit was not 100% perfect. 14 months have gone by though, and suddenly now it only holds a charge for about 30 minutes. This was not the lowest price-point battery so I expected a bit better life span. I will not be buying this brand again.

Horrible build quality
The battery works, for now, but the build quality is terrible at best and dangerous at worst. The plastic housing is so cheap and you can already press in on it and fell it popping apart. Worst of all, the groves where the latch latches into and holds the battery is wide open. You can literally look into the holes about the size of a dime, width wise, and see the cells inside. Not only does this allow all dust and contaminates or any foreign objects inside, it offers no protection from the latches potentiality scrapping the 18650 cells that are inside. A horrible, cheap, and potentiality dangerous design.
