I had purchased this whale bath mat previously but returned because it didn’t quite fit in the little tub we have for our daughter. I bought it again and I love it. It doesn’t quite fit but it’s ok if it gets a tiny fold. It sticks well, cleans well and I love that the tail can connect to the body so you can hang it to dry, so helpful!

I’ve had this for just over two years now - starting with the first kid at about 16 months and the second one started at around 6-8 months (when he could sit up). With the little guys, you still have to watch every second - but overall it’s worked really well for both to sit and play together in the tub even now with an 2 and 3 yr olds. Even though it only covers about 2/3 of the tub, it works fine because the sit on it and can have their legs on the “slippery side”. And, yes, the will slip in from time to time while they learn where it is safe to stand and move around. Watch them like a Hawk at first but soon, they will get the hang of it. Someone mentioned that it gets mildew. While that is especially true in humid climates, it’s going to happen any time you have warm, dark and water… Aka… leave it in the tub in order to get the kids in bed. (Guilty!) It will develop mildew easily if you don’t put it away after use and actually let it dry out. That’s just how mildew works and it definitely has happened to mine. I clean it with a Clorox wipe from time to time, but it still has developed black discoloration around the suction cups (it is not visible in use, because the stains are on the bottom). Although it still works great and looks good on the top, I may get another one (2+ years later) because the stains gross me out. It is best to press this onto the tub before you add water. Every once in a while I forget and it’s tougher to have it stick well and can slip when the kids first get in (but, their weigh will eventually secure it in place). Overall, I’m glad I bought this.

Works on all flat tubs. Ours has extra billing non skid strips so it won’t stay suctioned down, but it is flat and helps keep baby from slipping. Super cute design. Does not fit a full tub. Love that it is extra cushy

Grrr, even though I expected this to be shipped rolled up, I’m still annoyed. It is super stiff, making it difficult to flatten out. Hoping I can warm it up with a hairdryer or hot water to make it more pliable, but it’s extra work which shouldn’t be required of a brand new product. If you order this, be ready to put some effort into flattening it out enough to actually use it. UPDATE: Does not lie flat even after soaking in hot water. The curls are persistent. I hope it flattens out over time because it’s almost useless as is. The suction cups don’t suction to our tub either which is really annoying.

I was looking for a non-slip tub mat for little #2 who is standing, but not stable. In the past, we used the inflatable duck tub for little #1, but I wanted to be able to bath both littles together and plus, the inflatable duck tub flopped twice so, it wasn’t worth investing in again for this stage. I went with this tub may because it’s marketed for babies, so I assumed it would be comfortable for little baby bums to sit on....this is correct! Some other tub mats have circular suctions that create uncomfortable bumps for sitting. This tub mat is nice and thick and sticks solid! I remove it from the tub after each use and hang it over the faucet thanks to the handy tail/button detail on this mat. We have had this mat for over a month with almost daily use and no mold issues! It’s thick, comfy, durable and definitely affordable for the product quality.

Wanted to love this because it is so cute, but it was horrible so it was sent back. Comes tightly rolled so it was impossible to get it to lay flat in the bath tub. Material is definitely not soft like other bath mats. Too bad. Like I first stated, super cute, but not for us.

The mat is very nice looking but very thick and stiff. It also would not attach to my tub via suction cups.

Started looking for a bath mat as soon as my son was old enough to be in the tub sitting up. I looked extensively into various products, hoping to find something that wouldn’t slip, had ability to be hung for complete drying , and was user friendly. I debated between this product and a longer mat because I thought this whale was too small. But now I’m thankful I didn’t get a longer product. The suction power is really strong and mat has never shifted while in use. (I don’t have a textured bottom tub). The size is perfect for the little guy to sit on and not so big that it’s a pain to can’t clean and hang dry it after each use. I usually wipe it down with a washcloth after bath, and hang it over my showerhead. It’s perfectly dry and mold free for the next bath. Good product!

Although the mat doesn’t stick to our bathtub at all, it still does its job quite well - my baby is not slipping anymore. I love the design of the mat, the whale looks cute and it’s super convenient to hang it and let it dry! First I thought it would be too small but so far it’s enough for my 9 month old.

Great purchase for baby’s baths. Stops them from slipping and love that you can hang it on shower head after bath to dry and prevents it from getting gross/moldy

Comprei ele mesmo sendo bem mais caro que os outros pq achei que pelas medidas que estavam aqui no site seria um tapete maior, mas engano meu, é pequeno como os outros (Talvez a medida seja da baleia toda, mas o rabo dela é dobrado entao na realidade no espaço que for colocado fica menor do que a medida), no mais tem boa qualidade e cumpre bem a função.
