Nice epoxy resin
I use various different types of resins, both opaque and clear, polyester, epoxy and polyeurethane. In the clear resins, i tend to go for the epoxy type if the job is small enough, or the funding warrants it (epoxy is easily twice the cost of poly types) because the health hazards with epoxy is so much lower, the cure is easier, and for the most part the entire job is quicker. This resin is fairly thin, so pours nicely, however, here in the UK, ive found the ambient temp in the workshop too cool for a perfect result, this is no fault of the resin, its literally the temp in our workshop.I get the best results with this resin when i put both bottles into a bucket of water, at about 50 degrees. I leave the bottles there for ten to fifteen minutes, which warms the epoxy nicely. This means when i pour into the mix pot, the liquids have less tendancy to retain air bubbes and even when mixing, they disperse so much easier. We use both Vac chambers and also pressure vessels for our casting, but ive done a couple of jobs which have been left to cure out without the pressure vessel, and they have come out superbly, when using the pre warming technique. The next thing to be aware of is if your curing area is below say 20 degrees C, then give the mix longer than 12 hours to cure out. It goes solid, but you can deform the final product easily if the curing is not quite finished. If i had anything to say about this resin thats not as good as others, is the final hardness and polishing ability. It seems to be less able to with stand scratching, and even going through the normal sanding up to 7000 grit, then polish with yorkshire grit, im struggling to get rid of every mark, however than MAY be due to the temps its curing at.So would i reccomend it?Without a doubt, its great stuff, safe and easy to use for home users, and id always tell people to use this over poly type clear resins, you dont want to mess with voc and health risks if its just a hobby!

Lovely resin to work with
I am new to resin and have tried several different ones. I attended a workshop and purchased the resin that was used there, but I found it really bubbly. I do a lot of clear casting in silicone moulds and when the pieces were released they were full of teeny micro bubbles, even after using a barbecue lighter, which spoilt my crafts a little.I read some reviews and thought I'd give this one a go. I found it much nicer to work with, it has quite a low viscocity and when I mixed it there were hardly any bubbles. The few that appeared were easily dispersed with my barbecue lighter and no more appeared. I ordered the 12 hour cure resin and had about 15 minutes work time which is ideal for what I was doing and I only mix a small quantity at a time anyway. Although I haven't released my creations from the moulds yet I can already see the difference...super clear and shiny. I have also used it to dome a couple of pendants.I also want to do some resin dirty pours onto canvas and asked advice on the best resin to use from Resin4Decor who emailed me back with their advice, hence I have bought some of the 24 hour resin as I need a longer work time. All in all I think this will be my favourite resin to work with. Excellent product.

Great product!
Its my first time using resin and i thought i'll use this one as it has good reviews. I was a little worried at first as i had to mix 2 parts together and i thought it wasn't gonna turn out for me, but its turned out better than expected. I love using resin and this one is good, easy to use, as long as you mix them for however long it says and the right measurements, theres no problem. All my pieces has come out perfectly, besides a few bubbles, in them, i just need to work on getting rid of them. What i did do is put my resin in a warm bath (still in the bottle), and let it sit in for about 10 mins. I think this has really minimized the amount of bubbles, which you can see when leaving it a few mins after mixing. Overall i'm satisfied with this product!

One of the better resins, in my 'umble opinion.
I have tried a couple of other branded resins, with varying results. This has some very good reviews despite being quite expensive so I thought I would give it a go.They are very generously sized bottles, so this is possibly one to invest in after trying smaller kits and getting a feel for what works for you. A little goes a long way (in my case my hands, table, anything within a ten mile radius) so don't be tempted to mix up more than you can use at a time. There are loads of tutorials out there both in books and the tinternet, and some very useful online videos. This is a great time of year to experiment with flowers, moss, leaves etc.

Fast curing, no smell, easy to use
I use this resin for many different applications. there is no smell that comes with many of these resins. Easy to mix and cures overnight. My last use was to fill crevices in a walking stick I was making. I mixed some powdered colouring with the resin and the cracks are now filled and add a very distinctive colour to the wood. When I mix the resin I usually leave it for about 15 minutes to thicken, especially where I am hanging the finished product to dry. The resin thickens at the 15 minute mark and so it runs far less when hung up. For larger quantities I leave it to the 30 minute mark before using.

Doesn't last a couple of months
I bought this resin at the end of February. It worked fine. Then I went to use it today May for some art work and it's completely crystallised and useless. What an expense just for one painting. Now I will have to buy some more resin elsewhere. That can't be right. Most resins last 1 year minimum. The return window has closed on Amazon and I am furious.

Love This Resin
This is the 4th resin I have tried on my search for the perfect resin for me, and I need search no more. I love this resin. I prefer a 2:1 ratio as they are thinner, which this is, as the bubbles are greatly reduced to the point I very rarely get any with this resin. I wanted UV protection, which this has, I wanted it to pour from the bottle without running down the side ( a particular bug bear of mine with my second favourite resin ) which this does. It's easy to work with ( I do small castings and doming ) and it cures perfectly, and I wanted the option to buy in bulk, which I can. I can't think of one negative to this resin at all :) x

Calidad
Es perfecta, de todas las resinas que he probado me quedo con esta, seca súper rápido, dice que 12 horas pero a las 8 horas ya está completamente seca y resistente, es transparente, muy buena calidad sin duda la mejor que he probado

Lives up to expectations
I love this resin, I make a ridiculous amount of resin crafts and this is the best resin I have used yet. I've tried several of the other name brands and even though they advertise no yellowing, no scent, no bubbles they all smell bad, yellow and stink. This brand lives up to expectations! I even revived the crystallized product I had in a warm water bath and went on to use it. If only in had used this one first I would have saved hundreds of dollars.

Buona resina
Uso spesso questa resina e mi piace. E' cristallina e a bassa viscosità.
