Has really helped my cats calm down and has eased the interactions between my two cats.

These seem to be working really well for my cats. They will both just taking them as if they are treats. One cat is high anxiety and afraid of any new people, or the dog, or the vacuum. The other cat is a bit more aggressive, and has back twitches all the time. But when they are given one of these pills the back twitches stop, and he is not longer aggressive and the scaredy cat, sprawls herself out on the floor with not a care in the world. I hope I keep getting these results.

Love this med. A little pricey especially since I have to double up on his dosage. The best way I have found to do it is two in the morning and a third midday. My pup has separation anxiety, so he’s destructive behavior only starts when I’m not home. The above dosage I have to give him is the only thing that’s been effective for a 130 lb Cane Corso puppy, and he not be lethargic from it. When I come home, he’s off his bed and running to me, tail wagging and all smiles. 4 stars only because of the price. Still a fantastic product.

Made my dog lethargic, she isolated and couldn’t walk well. It was hard to see her like that. It caused soft stools. This stuff is very expensive for a person on a budget and to put out this much money for something that I can’t use is upsetting. Even more upsetting is the effect it had on my fur baby. She’s been off it 2 days and already has pep in her step again!!

NOTE: After reading previous reviews, I feel I must say, it’s a medication designed to work over time and needs to be taken regularly to keep working. It’s NOT designed to be a one and done pill or an as needed pill, as it needs to get into your pet’s system in order to benefit from it. AND continuously administered to keep benefitting from it. I rescue senior cats from my local humane society and took in a 16 yr old black cat named Sweet Pea. I have 3 other cats and, after the transition period, he was urinating through my home on my rugs and aggressive to my other cats. I took him for full blood work and the results were fine so my vet recommended I try Anxitane. It took about 5-7 days for me to see the 180 turn around on Sweet Pea. It’s a miracle!! After a yr of him being aggressive and urinating, he doesn’t urinate anymore (outside his box) and he’s really living up to his name. He’s been taking it for almost a yr now and still doing great! There was a time that I was getting lax on giving him his regular twice a day pills and he relapsed into urinating and being aggressive again. So I make sure to give it to him regularly. He’s such a happy, sweet boy when he’s on his “happy pills”. Aren’t we all?! Hehe!

My Vet recommended Anxitane for my 12 yr old nervous Shih Tzu who fears storms, fireworks and any other loud situations. He has been taking it for about 9 months and the results have been astonishing. I noticed after about 5 months that he seemed to be less scared when folks rang the doorbell. We just experienced a series of T-storms and 4th of July fireworks and my pup barely reacted. I’m honestly astonished at how well this supplement works. It is very expensive (about $1 a day for a small dog) but worth it to keep my dog calm.

I have two senior cats who have medical issues that cause them to be anxious and/or restless. One cat will eat the chewable tablets as if they are treats. I put it on the floor and he gobbles it up. The other cat will not eat it. I crushed it and put it in wet food (he wouldnt eat it) and I tried putting it in a squeezable treat that has a gravy consistency. He is such a picky eater than he usually wouldnt eat all of it so the tablet was wasted. Considering the price, and the fact that when he did eat some of it, it didnt seem to be effective, I stopped trying to give it to him. CBD oil works better on him. The product does seem to be helping the other cat but it wasnt instantaneous. I dosed him for 3 days before I noticed a difference. Given the cost, I may not purchase another box. I have just as good luck with CBD oil and its much more cost effective.

Product is as described. Was recommended by my veterinarian for daily use for my cat to help with anxiety issues. Helps to keep him calmer.

these are excellent for one of my cats who's extremely anxious and tense,they make him relax and less tense

Mon chat ne dormait que 6-8 heures par jour. Le reste du temps, il fallait jouer avec TOUT LE TEMPS ! Depuis que je lui donne ce produit, il dort 16-20 heures par jour et 2 sessions de jeux de 15-20 minutes par jour suffisent ! Le produit fonctionne, mais assurez-vous de lui donner le temps d'agir (au moins 7 jours) avant de décider d'arrêter. L'effet est cumulatif et donc, le produit ne fonctionne pas instantanément. Mon chat attend son "bonbon" avec impatience tous les matins (pas besoin de me battre avec lui pour qu'il le mange!)

Je met 4 étoiles, non pas parce que ce n'est pas efficace...! Mais simplement parce que c'est dispendieux. Par contre je souhaite de tout mon cœur qu' Amazon va toujours en avoir en stock, car ce produit aide ÉNORMÉMENT mon chien "épileptique" et extrêmement anxieux, à se détendre... Oui, c'est dispendieux. Mais ce produit à carrément sauvé mon chien. Sans ce produit, mon chien faisait des crises d'épilepsie à TOUT les jours. Maintenant, il en fait une à deux "petites", par semaine !!! C'est incroyable !!!!

This definitely reduces anxiety in both of my cats. The male will eat them like treats, and the box has to be kept away from him. The fussy female will lick the powder up if I crush the tablet with the back of a spoon. Whatever they make these out of, why can't they make all cat medication out of it?

Used on advice of behaviour therapist. Noticed small differences in cat behaviour. Too early for comprehensive review.
