Sealand Replacement Bulb for Green Killing Machine, 24 Watts

These bulbs are a crapshoot. I had one last over a year (You MUST run it constantly, on/offs shorten it's life). This last bulb lasted 3 weeks. I won't be getting another. They work great and clarify the tank but just don't last long enough. No more good money after bad. I'm spending the money and getting a much better quality sterilizer.

This is a must for a healthy discus tank. My tank water quickly goes from crystal clear to cloudy with diatom when not using this UV bulb. Many cities have water that harbors microorganisms which may not be harmful to people, but could be for your fish, especially more delicate fish.

A bit expensive. The entire bulb assembly needs to be replaced when changing the bulb. Other units I have used allow replacement of just the bulb.

All you do is put it on the power head. Helps with algae on the glass. Doesn't last very long running 24/7 though.

Best, best thing ever for a fish tank in a window. The algae was out of control and now it is not. Great product!!
