Kraft Burger Aioli, 12 fl oz Bottle

I'm not one to try new things. But I was making some Wahlburgers for my wife. The burgers from Donnie, Mark, & Paul's restaurants. My wife wanted some of their "Wahl Sauce" secret sauce. Well it was $22 for 2 little bottles....ahh NO! So I saw this Kraft version along side.... I figured either the Wahl Sauce was a knock off of this Kraft Sauce. Or Kraft made a knock off of the Wahl Sauce. I was right!! It tastes just like Wahl Sauce but is much cheaper. I might get a 2nd bottle just to have. Cause I'm sure the wife and kid will hammer right through this Sauce. It's smooth but with a little bite at the end. Next time I need to put more on the burger.

I was thinking it'd be similar to a flavored Mayo of sorts but it was a little more like a specialty horseradish sauce. Still pretty good. My husband liked it a lot. (I'll stick to my chipotle Mayo personally so that's only reason I gave it 4 stars.)

So up till now most of the burger sauces that I've had were either clones of McDonald's Big Mac sauce or similar to it, that's not at all what this product is. The sauce tasting it right out of the bottle was sour a bit salty and something else I couldn't put my finger on maybe garlic. Tasting it on a burger by itself I realized it was also spicy, aggressively so. Now I realize most people would pair this with other condiments so maybe this sauce would be mellowed out. But I also saw on the bottle that it's advertised as a dipping sauce. I personally don't think I would enjoy anything I dipped in this. I did try mixing a small amount with a larger amount of mayo and that seemed to tamper down it's aggressiveness and make it a lot better. But I don't want to have to do that just to make a sauce more palatable. I'd rather buy something I could just pick up and use as is. Overall I would say this sauce just isn't for me. But maybe if you like more aggressive flavors this might be up your alley.

I only write a few reviews. But wanted to write something about this sauce so hopefully others will try it, and thus, keep buying it...thereby ensuring it keeps getting made and sold. I love it on everything. Burgers? Of course. A bowl of rice? You bet. Steamed broccoli? I should think so! A bowl of naked pasta with just a splash of olive oil? Why, I think I will. Salmon cakes (or crab cakes)? Amazing. It has just a hint of horseradish taste. Not enough to be hot/overpowering, but like what you taste in the background of a good cocktail sauce. Wished it was about $1 cheaper, but otherwise, it's perfect. Buy a bottle and try it out.

No clue what to compare this to doesn’t taste similar to anything at all so if you think it’s supposed to be just like…whatever sauce… no it’s unique. And personally didn’t like it at all whatsoever. I’m sooo not a picky eater I never throw away food if it’s just there will just eat it who cares. Not this at all. Way way way too spicy that alone made me not like it but didn’t even have a good flavor really just didn’t like this at all. I’ll still usually keep it in the fridge till it expires just to have on hand who knows..but never throw something out bc i didn’t like it…tossed this right out. Blehhhhhh no way never again really disappointed and didn’t like this one. Obviously lol
