Secure window opener
these are great, they do exactly what we want as we can secure the window in an open position at any point. They are robust and a very nice finish, easy to fit too.

Not a well thought out plan
The bar rattles around in the wobbly fixing. The screw down part goes directly onto metal so I doubt it will last long. I've had to wedge a sliver of wood between the screw and the rod to stop it rattling in the wind!

Not the greatest
Poorly made, but cheap. They are just about usable, though I had to do a bit of remedial filing on one of the two I bought. Don't expect that they will last long under heavy usage. The price is their main virtue.

just the job
Excellent product really well made, used to replace an old window stay that rattled and came loose in the wind. this one allows us to open the window to any width without the worry of the wind strength blowing the window open, when the new stay is tightened the window is completely secure, should have bought it before. Great many thanks.
