MCS Museum Poster Frame, Onyx, 24 x 36 in, Single

The glass is very heavy duty and is set into the frame. I had to trim my poster by a quarter inch on the sides and one half inch on the bottom. It was very easy to follow directions for removing the pressed material hard backing. I placed inside of frame and reassembled it.

Well packaged, received in great condition (thank you also to the delivery driver and team). Item is as described, a little lighter than anticipated (bonus) and looks great on the wall!

I love this poster frame that I ended up buying another one of a different size. I had bought another brand and it was horrible. Plastic hanging things on the back in two different places. This frame as the hanger part in the center vertical and horizontal. That is exactly what I wanted. I'm not about to hammer more nails into my wall than necessary. The frame is sturdy, lightweight and looks good. The only thing I didn't expect was the plexi-glass, assuming that's what it is - is glued to the frame, so you can't take it out. I've never had that before. But that's okay. I actually find that to be of benefit because before the piece would come out and I'd be wrestling with it to stay in as I tried to put the poster in it. Did not have a problem with that here. So yeah, I love this frame. I have had zero issues with it. And both of my orders arrived unbroken. No problems. The only thing with this frame is it takes a month to arrive. Not sure why it's so slow, but it does eventually arrive.

Very nice frame, goes well with my other simple black frames. I’m giving it four stars because it is well made, well packaged and no damage at all, BUT - my poster is exactly 18x24 yet the top is cut off. I measured the viewable part inside the frame and it’s roughly 17 1/2 x 23 1/4. So if your picture or poster is actually 18x24 with no negative space, you probably want to size up. I would buy again.

Saw someone on social media use this over a piece of sheet metal to make a magnetic board and decided to try it myself. Fit perfectly over the metal, looks really clean and finished on the wall, and honestly feels sturdier than I expected for the price. I kept the plastic/glass cover over the sheet metal and it still works as far as the magnets go. It's one of those purchases where you're braced for it to feel cheap and it just... doesn't - worth the money and would definitely buy again.

I purchased two 20x28 frames in the espresso finish. One new and one 'like new.' Things you should know: - The corners are not secured well. My 'like new' frame arrived with a cracked corner. Seems a common problem as other reviewers have posted pictures of the exact corner crack present in one of the frames. The corner required wood glue, putty, and corner brackets. I elected to put brackets, $7 for 4 at a big box hardware store, on the other three corners as well. 2. Regardless of new or like new, the plastic 'glass' is glued in and cannot be removed without destroying it. It is glued into the frame poorly with extra glue gobs throughout. You'll want to remove these so you art does not stick to them and cause damage. I used goo gone to remove the excess. 3. Frame arrived with cracked plastic. 4. The hardback is nice, but with the push retainers, thin plastic, and rickety frame, it's hard to remove the board, load your artwork, and close it back up for mounting. 5. The description says frame width is 1.5." It is not. It's more like 1.2." Had I known this I probably would have selected a different frame, but again, it's here, it will do. 6. The finish is pretty once the glue gobs are removed. Why did I keep these? In short, time constraints and laziness. I'm using 2 frames to create a hinged fuse box cover. I could have bought the wood, mitered it, glued and clamped it, and stained and sealed it, but I'm no Bob Vila and I wanted a quicker fix. With my modifications it will suffice. I personally wouldn't pay more than $25 for this 20x28 frame, new or like new. It's manufactured poorly and there are better options in 1.2" wide molding frames if you're willing to spend slightly more than $25.

Not sure what others expected for the price. Great frame. Solid and sturdy. Looks nice. It is plexiglass and not real glass, maybe that’s why people are upset about the “quality”? But I put my poster in it and probably not going to touch it for at least a few years. It looks great .
