Update: This superhero product has saved the day again! Unfortunately I ended up getting an allergic reaction from another product. I don't usually have sensitive skin but developed very itchy bumps all over, where I used the other product. I knew what would help. I used the Eucerine Gentle Face Wash as a body wash and then applied this Original Healing Lotion. After sleeping, the inflammation and itching feels mostly gone. There is still redness but removing the itch makes it possible for the skin to heal. I will continue to keep both products in stock. The Gentle Face Wash I have been using for months and I purchased it to have an oil free face wash safe for DIY eyelash extensions. I discovered that it was also extremely gentle and pleasant to use as a hand wash for my psoriasis when everything else seemed to burn. I love these products! Original review: I am experiencing psoriasis on my hands which can be a painful and very debilitating condition. Aside from keeping my hands covered with gloves I have also tried several kinds of hand lotions such as Working Hands, Gloves in a Bottle, Workman's Friend, Gold bond (colloidal oatmeal), etc., and this "healing" lotion is the only one that truly soothes, CALMS, moisturizes and HEALS my hands without stinging and causing further irritation. Nothing else is as effective. Yes, this is a very sticky, thick and greasy lotion... But if your skin feels like it's on fire and nothing seems to really help, I encourage you to give this a try. Somehow my hands absorb this greasy lotion. I can see and feel the inflammation go down and healthy skin start to appear. I now don't know what I would do without this indispensable lotion. For what it does, it is an affordable lotion.

I’ve tried so many lotions over the years, and this Eucerin Original Healing is the first one that genuinely made a difference. The texture is rich and thick, but it absorbs surprisingly well and leaves my skin feeling soft for hours. I’ve been using it daily, especially on my arms and legs, and the dryness and irritation I used to have are basically gone. There’s no strong scent, which I like, and a little bit goes a long way. If you deal with really dry or compromised skin, this stuff is a lifesaver. Absolutely worth the bottle size and the price.

I have pretty sensitive facial skin so I can't use anything with fragrance. It just gets red if I apply any lotion that has added scent. This lotion is solid, it is thick but absorbs fairly quickly. I would not use this 5 minutes before you head out to work, since it does take a bit of time to absorb into the skin. I use it at night before I go to sleep. If necessary, I'll add a SMALL dab to my face before heading out. When I wake up after applying the lotion the night before, my face feels hydrated. It has been at least two weeks or longer since I started to apply this lotion... so far it has healed my red dry skin. I may have to wait to test it during the dry winter, but we shall see. I do not see any problems using product. I have already covered my entire face with this thick lotion and felt no pain as I would with many other brand that may contain fragrances. The only products that I have been able to use is Cetaphil (ONLY the "body" cream) and Aquaphor. Cetaphil body cream is kind of light, so it absorbs quickly. When I wake up in the mornings I can tell the Cetaphil doesn't really keep moisture long periods of time. Aquaphor is mineral based petroleum, kind of super-oily. So one moisturizes too short term, while the other kind of keeps your face too oily. This Eucerin Original Healing Lotion kind of fits in between. Highly recommend Eucerin Original Healing Lotion or the cream version.

Although it is somewhat greasy on first application, it is really my go-to for winter protection. The feeling the day after one uses it is skin that is firm. It works well for sensitive skin areas.
