Women's Samara Sandal

In many ways I love this shoe...I've had a pair for two years and have worn them a lot. However, both of the straps were much too long, dragging on the ground. With this pair, the toe strap was okay but the ankle/instep strap was again much too long...so that out of about 3 inches of Velcro, only one inch overlapped when I was wearing the shoe. I decided that when paying over $300 for the shoes, I wasn't willing to put up with this inconvenience. It could probably be modified at a shoe repair shop, but at additional cost.If these go on sale, I may try a smaller size or just buy another pair and have additional Velcro added to the strap.They do have great arch support and the rocking sole is great for walking.Fast forward two years: I bought this shoe in a size 39, which to my amazement fits. Even though I always wear a size 40, even in other Finn Comfort shoes. Now the straps don't drag and the show really fits perfectly. Now I am back to loving these unequivocally. I recommend sizing down on this style.

These are the first Finn Comfort sandals I've worn, and they're a little life changing. Even in the size 43, the toe strap is shaped enough that it doesn't look like a man's sandal on my woman's foot. The toe strap is quite long; I had to pull it tight to accommodate my wide toe box! The calves skin lining is so soft and doesn't irritate my bunions - which are covered nicely with the soft leather. The arch support is fantastic, and the rocker design is easy to walk in.Ordered the navy/jasmine. I may well have received it, but it looks incredibly black to me.

The Finn Comfort line is a real winner no matter which one you choose. This one has a bit of a rocker bottom to the sole which delivers more arch support, but isn't unstable like most rocker bottom shoes on the market today. Most claim to give you better legs, but in reality wearing them all day will tire you out. A good rocker will simply make it easier to walk, and that's exactly what this one does. But if you have any issues with your Achilles you don't want this shoe or any rocker shoe for that matter. It will put too much stress on the tendon. I love these though. They're stable, supportive, and so easy to wear. Great for turf toe. You'll love them too.

I received this shoe a few days ago. I'm having a plantar fasciitis flare-up, and I can wear this shoe with no heel discomfort. Samara mule footbed is the typical top quality Finn Comfort product. Shoe fit is good. The inside of the shoe is less smooth than my other Finn Comfort shoes, and the ankle strap that touches the top of my foot is very rough and bothersome. I'm hoping it will become less so with wear. Color was listed as Navy/Jasmine, but it looks black until it is placed next to black. I don't especially like the white trim around the top of the heel because of appearance and probable soiling. The main thing I like is I can wear the Samara comfortably with my plantar fasciitis. Even with the issues mentioned I am satisfied with the shoe. Amazon.com had it on sale for less than half of the regular retail price which I think was an exceptionally good price.

If you like the rocker sole shoes you will love this one.It is very comfortable with a great arch support. The inside sole is not too soft if you are sensitive on the bottom of your feet. Amazon ships very fast and makes returns very easy if you should need to return.
