Great Storage Racks
We needed storage racks to help organize our garage and allow us to park our cars. These shelves were the answer. Very satisfied with the product. We ran into a little bit of difficulty because they shipped us one of each color but we contacted the company and they worked with us to come up with an acceptable solution. The instructions were not the clearest when trying to figure out how to attach the 4x4 sections but eventually I was able to figure it out.One piece of advice, don’t install the ceiling mounting brackets too close to the wall. In my case I only left about 3/4 of an inch which made getting the nut and washer on to the bolt a challenge. I initially stressed about getting the measurements exact right down to a 1/4 of an inch and then realized after much consternation that it wasn’t necessary.Overall, the product is very sturdy and does exactly what it is supposed to do. I highly recommend these racks.

Very good storage solution!
Fast shipping and great quality product! Very well built! The instructions are clear and the installation was easy but it took me a while (4 hours) since I did it alone and took my time to make sure I get everything right. Capacity is great, I put mine almost as low as it allows, I have a standard height garage but I can still comfortably pass under it (I'm 6'9"). Feels very sturdy and although I didn't load it nearly close to its weight capacity, I feel confident in this product.

Solid stuff
The instructions that come with the rack are not the best. I found the video helpful even though it was from a different model and once you lay things out, it's a fairly simple install. My depth barely made it in my garage as I could only use one bracket down for the 24" but it works fine. I do have concern with someone hitting their heads on the sharp edges so I wrapped them in a covering to lessen the blow. Over all this is a good sturdy rack that put side by side or separately will do the job in your garage overhead.

top of the line ceiling rack
I needed to figure a solution for some better storage in my wood shop and after spending considerable time studying my options I went with this rack . The main factor for this choice is it is the same design as the gorilla floor rack shelves that I've had for years . This design is extremely strong and sturdy. With the proper installation I really don't think you could buy a better rack. The install needs to be carefully planned out , take your time and double check every aspect ( rafter locations or , as in my case , floor truss locations are especially important). In my unprofessional opinion , the only limitations to this rack is the strength of what you are attaching it to . I like the fact they sell just the rack , minus the wire platform ,. I like the providing your own 1/2" plywood option better .

Pain to assemble but well worth the money.
Such a pain in the neck to install, literally. But now there's so much more room for activities and it's only half full. Took two days of maybe 5 hours straight but it came out great and as advertised. The hard part is getting the anchor points attached the right distance and in line while securely anchoring them to the studs in the ceiling. Aside from that it's very simple and straight forward. Great product.

Great rack!
Went together pretty quickly. I read reviews complaining about the weight of the item and time it took to install: first of all it is holding hundreds of pounds above your head, do you want it to be lightweight and held together with a few bolts? No. Secondly, you assemble it one piece at a time, you probably never pick up more than a few pounds at a time so the overall weight isn’t an issue. Overall I was very surprised and pleased with the product and it’s sturdiness. I won’t be loading it with 300 pounds, but I’m sure it’ll handle it, I hung my 220+ pounds from it and it didn’t budge.

Working with customer service...
This review is pending another update. The company has reached out to address the missing hardware and the condition of the first rack I received.I have amended my review after working with customer service - which has been very responsive to date. The initial shipment was not optimal. The product I received arrived in a box that was in very poor shape and had been opened and re-closed more than once (lots of tape). Second, the condition of the product: the finish promised in the product page was a scratched and marred mess. Hardware?I did not receive all the hardware (less than half the hardware required to put the rack together), and I have concerns about the hardware in that it appears to be undersized and not the highest quality - not only because it’s made in China, but the surface treatment of the allegedly SAE Grade 5 bolts (marked as such at least) doesn’t really look like legitimate Grade 5. I don’t have the test equipment to determine if the hardware is legitimate, and whether it can safely support a 600lb static load. The lag bolts seem relatively sturdy and likely should not fail - but the 6 bolts that are supposed to support a static load of at least 100 lbs each (if the entire load is perfectly distributed - used to suspend the entire mass at the ceiling brackets). If these bolts are legitimate Grade 5 hardware, they should be able to handle an estimated shear force of approximately 2280 lbs (at failure), which should be sufficient for expansion, contraction, dynamic load shifting (loading, unloading, and uneven weight distribution). The value from above is the estimated point it fails, not what each bolt can hold. Furthermore, the the exact same bolts are used in multiple/other lower critical and dynamic support points (potential failure points).I honestly believe this shelf system needs a hardware revision to address the concerns regarding safety. Hardware produced in Taiwan is honestly much better quality than hardware made in China. Hardware made in the U.S. would be the very best option - and I would be willing to pay a premium for a rack made in the U.S.
