Ballistic AP1156-A025 Aspira Series Case for Samsung Galaxy S4 - Retail Packaging - Black/Dark Charcoal

I've had this case for a couple of weeks now and so far I'm in love with it! In the past, I've always been very anti cell phone case because of a multitude of reasons (loose fitting, difficult to get in/out of pockets, somehow hinders functionality of the phone, etc). However, after having my Galaxy S3 for only 4-5 months before having it become destroyed due to multiple drops, I decided that on day one of acquiring my S4 that a case was going to be mandatory.Pros: - Slim Smooth Design: It's only rubberized on on the outside areas that are common to hit the ground during impact. With the rest being a smooth plastic exterior, I've found it's extremely easy to get in and out of my pocket. - Very tight fitting: This case is not one that you'll notice falling off very easily...or at all for that matter. A lot of cases you'll notice a lot of dust and dirt build up actually inside the case if you remove the phone from it. This case is about as sealed up as you can get. It was a bit little difficult to get on the first time, but definitely worth the tiny amount of effort considering the protection you receive. - Great protection: I'm "constantly" dropping my phone. In most cases as I'm stepping out of my full size pickup truck and it falls from my seat or leg straight onto concrete. I'm sure I'll probably drop it a couple more hundred times and this case will hold it's own and keep my phone safe every single time. Because 95% of the time it's dropped on a high impact part of the phone, the rubberized exterior part bears the brunt of the impact and absorbs everything. - Improves Functionality: I've noticed with the Galaxy products that the power button and volume buttons can be rather easy to accidentally press when just using the phone by itself. The button covers on this case deter these accidental presses greatly without actually hindering the functionality of the phone whatsoever. - Raised Lip: Really more of a spec than an opinion...But I'm a big supporter of the raised lip over the screen to prevent it from hitting the ground. Unless the screen falls directly on top of a object smaller than itself (like a small rock or pebble), it is literally impossible for the screen to get hit. No matter which direction you drop it, if the phone falls on a flat surface, it will not get a scratch. - Durability: Obviously this is still a new case for me, but I have no doubts it will last the length of the phone if not longer. Not too shabby for the price you're paying.Cons: - Headphone Port: This is in no way a deal breaker for me, but I have noticed that the cover around the headphone/audio port is a bit tight. Sometimes I'll think the headphones are plugged all the way in, when in fact they need a little extra push at the end to make sure they're in all the way and connected to the phone.

this case has been very protective for everyday use. i've used for 3 months and dropped phone from standing height twice onto pavement with no damage. rubberized corners are good to keep it from sliding off a table, but does make it get stuck sometimes in a tight pocket. buttons work perfectly. very tight fit. still fairly slim, not as bulky as some otterbox cases. raised front edge protects screen well. back protects camera screen without obstructing lens. My wife has the purlpe/clear version which is the same, but lacks the rubberized corners/edge. hers does not stick in her pocket at all and is slightly slimmer, but maybe less protection. overall, I would buy this again.

Initially, I didn't like this at all and got an Otterbox Commuter. But, after a few days of using both of them and switching them back and forth, I have put this one on my phone and it has not come off. It seems to offer more protection than the Otterbox and is minimally lighter (.3 ounces). The rubberized face that protects the phone when laying face down is thicker than the Otterbox. The buttons are very easy to use and it has stayed looking great-no marks or blemishes. The mini usb port is large enough to hook to a variety of gadgets with larger port plug-in pieces. It does not have the covers for the ports like the Otterbox does, but none of my other phone covers have had them and they have all been fine so that is not a deal breaker for me. It is easy to hold and easy to grab from my purse. I don't keep my phone in my pocket so I can't comment on that.The only thing I would change is to make the rubber edges just a little wider so that they cover just a bit more of the screen face.I have the Zagg Glass screen protector, which is thicker than most. When installing the case, I had to pull up the rubber all the way around so that it is above the screen protector and not just pushing out against it. This loosened my screen protector in the corner a couple times before I figured it out. Once you have it pulled over the screen protector, the top and sides stay, but the bottom which has less structure because of the charging point does need to be adjusted periodically.I have dropped my phone in this case several times, and it has come out fine, but they haven't been really bad drops. Unlike some of the cheaper 2 and 3 piece cases, it does't move or break off of the phone even in these minor drops, so the snug fit is a definite advantage.

This case may look pretty and the plastic be shiny like the product says. BUT this shininess makes fir an extremely slippery case. It is so easy to fall out of your hands and pockets!!!! Be careful with this product. I've used many cell phone cases for my galaxy s4 and this is by far the worst one yet. My favorite has to be the Otterbox commuter series. It is about the same size as this Ballistic BUT it will protect your phone, is comfortable in the hands, & looks good. Hate, hate, hate the Ballistic Aspira!!!! If you're concerned at all with dropping your phone then stay away from this case. Very disappointed

Great cover. Took a lot of beating and phone was intact and kept it's value until I traded it in.

Rien à redire, protège efficacement le téléphone, tout en laissant l'accès aux boutons et aux capteurs/caméras, et je le trouve très esthétique. Il offre une bonne prise en main, meilleure qu'avec le téléphone nu (pour les grandes mains en tout cas) grâce à la matière anti-dérapante. La sur-épaisseur fait que l'écran aussi est protégé en cas de chute sur surface plane. Seul défaut, rend le téléphone assez encombrant dans la poche, mais on ne peut pas tout avoir ! Je suis entièrement satisfait !

Good product, fits well, it have a nice look and seems sturdy. The only downside and it is always the same is that it takes an eternity to cross the border (clearance), as it was stuck there for a week.

I have searched all Nicosia for this! no-one had a proper case for such an 'old' phone! it is excellent.
