The Bard product as far as I’m concerned is the best on the market. The bag provided by my urologist is the cheapest thing going.

This is by far the best drainage bag I have seen on the market. My husband has been using prescription cathedars and drainage bags for almost 2 years now. Medicare stopped providing this type of bag and reverted to another type with a needle port that is useless for him. They work just as well with the exception of not being able to flush the tube when needed, so at times the tube can get contaminated with urinary waste that is actually normal unless it plugs up the drainage and that has happened. I just don't get Medicare sometimes! Why fix something when it is not broke! I suppose a smart alternative would be a bag designed with 2 types of ports (needle and flushing). Anyway I have been keeping this design on hand for quite a while in the event the bag needs to be changed, because it has an actual flushing port that uses a specific type of syringe (not included) to fill with a cleaning solution and flush the tubing. I ran out of my reserve supply and thrilled that Amazon carries this type. VERY SELDOM do I give a product 5 stars unless it EXCEEDS my expectations and I will recommend this bag in a heartbeat. Also delivery was expected next week and I got the order within 2 days of ordering......THANK YOU!

I have been using these bags for a while now. They were long lasting, worked well, and fairly easy to use.This changed with my last order when the drain tube was changed from a soft black rubber material to stiff white tubing. The white tubing is much harder to get good shut off seal. I have to fiddle with white tubing arrangement nearly every morning. Plus black tubing lasted around 90 days. I replace bag every 60 days just to be safe. The bag with the white tubing lasted just under 30 days before it started leaking where the tubing goes into the bag.Please return to the black tubing.

Bought to replace bag I was sent home with as it started leaking. Was happy to find the tubing was shorter as I am short, but soon can to hate the shorter tubing. After two weeks it started leaking from the urine collection spout at the top of the tubing.

I have tried them all! Only drainage bag that I would use at night now! Large capacity, easy to empty, and can be cleaned out "with patience". I just wish that it was made with a "flexible" tubing.
