Dinos
Don't let your 10 yr old read this book. The story itself was fast and exciting. The cursing, not so much. The characters were well written and each one relatable to. There was a real twist with Tex, but I will let you find out for yourself. Grief can morph into madness and science and dinosaurs never mix well, no matter the reason. There is an element of revenge mixed up in the theme of this novel. Each character finds his or her strengths and weaknesses. Really hate it is a cliffhanger, but that is how money is made with Amazon Kindle authors. I would love to read the continuation of this stoty but I don't know if I can stomach the f word thru another book. Would have given it 5 stars were it not for that.

Who Lives, Who Dies by Chris Liberty
Dr. Emmanuel Hernandez was in charge of the expedition to find a giant lizard on Ilha da Morte just off the coast of Brazil and in quarantine by the Brazilian Navy. The name had changed when a volcano erupted killing over 10,000 people and every living creature on the island in 1965. They had left the coast of Brazil in the midst of the storm and the boat was blown onto the rocks of the island with the bottom being torn out. One student José fell on the rocks and injured his head and they couldn't stop the bleeding. There were three professors and seven students and they had no way off the island and no way to contact anyone to tell them the trouble they were in. They found it in land clearing where they set up camp and José died. They buried him in a shallow grave at the edge of the clearing. Some of the students swore they had seen dinosaurs though no one believed them. One of the professors finally saw dinosaurs and he was believed. The questions to be answered are how many dies and if they find a safer place to camp and find a way to let someone know that they are in trouble. To answer these questions read the book. The book ends in a cliffhanger so that when the next book comes out you have to read the first book or you going to spoil the end of the book. It's a good book...

cliffhanger
I have never read anything by this author before, the cover caught my attention as I’ve loved dinosaurs for as long as I can remember. This expedition seems to have been cursed from the get-go, which only served to make it more intriguing to me. It’s an interesting plot and there is no shortage of action, adventure, suspense and danger in this plot. I enjoyed the fast pace of the story and the author did a great job in building the world and the characters. It does end in a cliffhanger, I tend not to like those when they are sprung on me, I much rather have the author tell me this important fact in the blurb. That being said I am looking forward to book 2.I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Everyone loves dinosaurs in a well written story!
Thank you voracious readers only for providing an ARC for a honest review.Since I have the interests of a 10 year old boy anything to do with dinosaurs has my attention. Usually though when reading books about dinosaurs it just involves a scary T-rex and a lot of running. This book though is so much more then that, you actually have many different types of dinosaurs (carnivores & herbivores) and they're so well written and researched. The writing style is fast paced and intriguing. The world building was great, the charecters were well thought out.It did end on a cliff hanger which is not a deal breaker for me because I'm actually excited to jump back into the story with the next book and I can't wait!

Great story
In reality, I am a 59-year-old woman but I still like things like a young boy (haha). Things like dinosaurs. I am thinking it is because I raised 2 boys (no girls) and they taught me what fun is. So I loved this book! It would be so awesome to see a live dinosaur, at least until they try to eat you. Great story, well-written and I loved the characters.I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

An Edge Of Your Seat Thriller!!
Dino CrisisStranded: Book 1Chris LibertyThey are coming - will you be able to get away? This was a great story full of adventure and twists that will keep you entertained and guessing all the way through. The characters work well together and flow into the story. You will not want to stop turning the pages to see what could happen next when the team goes in search of the unknown. Great story!!

Pretty good but needs editing
Though I didn't care for the main character, the others were interesting. The story was entertaining, though I found myself constantly pulled out of story by sentences that didn't make sense. Many of those were due to prepositional phrases that were out of order. For instance, "The twenty-two-year-old stared at Tex without a flinch who towered over her by at least a foot." Oddly enough, this issue seemed to largely disappear about 25% or so of the way through the book. Other distractions that didn't, however, was odd word choices, gaze/glance/glimpse being used interchangeably (they're actually not, die to nuance differences in meaning), and eyes doing weird things like rotating. The book ended on a cliffhanger, which I found aggravating.I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
