BareTraps SAMINA Womens Sandals

I was looking for a new pair of sandals for a recent trip to Greece. I have issues in my right foot from an accident several years ago so I needed something that was comfortable and provided the support needed for lots of walking all day as well as be suitable for light hiking. And I also wanted something that was cute enough I could wear it with a dress for dinner. After trying 3 other (more expensive) brands, these fit the bill and were the perfect choice. I've just returned from 3 weeks in Greece and wore these sandals everyday and everywhere. They worked great on the cobblestones, my feet felt supported, and they worked for everything from walking to dinner out to light hiking to even swimming. That's right - we were at some rocky beaches on our trip and there were sea urchins in the rocks getting into the water so water shoes are a must. These were advertised as being waterproof so I put them to the test and they were perfect. I also love the support from the ankle zip and the stretchiness of the fabric that goes around the foot, it made for a superior fit. I got so many compliments on them from other travelers. Only con: the outsole needs to be more grippy. There were a couple of ruins we explored that had steep old marble paths and stairs that have become very slippery over time. I had a hard time walking on these, the shoes were not gripping enough. My husband had no problem in his sneakers, I had to hold on to him for support. That said, the worst place (Akrocorinth) a lot of visitors were having problems with the slippery marble, not just me. We all joked that it was a deliberate defensive strategy to keep invaders out.

Bought these to replace a pair that is ten years old but never really fit quite right. I am consistently a 7.5 M in Skechers Arch Fit shoes, and I pondered whether I should size up to an eight for this sandal, but instead I stuck with my 7.5 M sizing and they fit perfectly. I really like the zipper access on the heel, as well as the additional heel stabilization that zippered panel provides. The color is a nice neutral. I have very fair skin, but I think it would complement darker skin tones as well. Because I am disabled, I cannot stand or walk as I used to, but I believe these shoes would likely be all day-walkable for a person of average fitness. The straps are comfortable, not binding, and I have a high instep. I consider these shoes to be high quality and affordable. Very happy to have found them!

Love this brand. These sandals are stylish, durable and comfortable. I wipe them off to clean up easily. The straps don't adjust, but they are a good length. I love them so much, I have them in 2 colors. Buy them.

These sandals are super comfy. Can dress up or casual. Wore these on 2 vacations and got numerous compliments. On my 2nd pair. Had my first pair for 6 years.

Excellent and comfortable gladiator sandals that are comfortable and look great. I wish I bought a tan pair last year when I had the chance because they are discontinued. Zipper on back makes them easy to use. I'm usually about a 9 1/2-10 so I ordered the 10 regular and I'm glad I did, as I have a wide foot. The navy is a nice color and is not too dark. I also have them in black.

These shoes are super comfortable. I ordered a 8.5 and they fit perfect. I am now writing my review after one year of wearing the shoes only during the summer months. I would have given them a 5 star, although now after one year (again, only worn during the summer months of the year) the straps which seem to be made of a type of elastic, have stretched out which has thrown off the fit. I now ordered another pair in a different color, hopefully this won't also happen after a year. I would like if the company made more solid-color options as I don't want to order a print.

Bought these 2 years ago and I still have them. They are easy to take care of just use a magic eraser or throw them in the wash and they come clean

In FL, we go through a lot of sandals. These are a balance of function and style. The straps have a 4 way stretch that is able to perfectly conform to the foot. Even my high arches. No rubbing, no gaps for rocks, just a perfect fit. The sole is molded more than expected and has a good grip even on my tile floors. I like the zipper on the heel so you don't stretch out the straps. What a great spring find.

These sandals arrived one day late but they were worth the wait! They are super comfortable, true to size and the navy colour will go with lots of dresses and capris. I plan to wear them on our upcoming Caribbean Cruise. I also wanted to add another comment. I can easily wear my orthotics with these sandals which make them extra comfortable!

This is my 3 rd pair of BareTraps They’re comfy but not as much as my first 2 pairs bought a few years ago Still have good arch support but seem a bit thinner than previous ones. A bit disappointing considering the price.

Fit well out of the box, and did not chafe or bind after several hours on my feet. Good brand - I would buy again.
