YKK Vislon
YKK Vislon is the simply the best plastic zipper out there. Brass is best but not always appropriate. These zippers are easy to sew in and will far outlast the garment. It’s always the zipper that fails before the garment, so sew your own back in and keep that expensive coat for a few more years. Cut both sides of the failed zipper off and sew these in on top. Not too tough. If you have a seamstress do the job, specify Vislon or buy the zipper first and hand it to them.

I love these zippers. I use them for reversible costumes. I wish this company made a more discreet version of the reversible zippers, but they work great for now.
