110 Stars. Ants Disappeared. No mess
Wow, other reviewer were right. Tjis works so fast. When I found ants in bathroom, I called the exterminator, even with spraying, the ants kept coming out in the strangest places (office light socket, hall closet). I would see a few here and a few there. Yesterday, I got my white jacket out of the hall closet and it was covered with tiny black ants. I apparently had a spot of sweet and sour (Chinese food) on one side of my jacket. Oh my, ants galore. I immediately put a Terro ant bait (no smell at all) on the shelf above the clothes rod. The rod was covered with them. It was not easy to see if ants were on the jackets, so I left everything in the closet and closed the door. When I came home 2 hrs later, the paper towel and top of bait was covered with ants, and new ants were marching across the rod toward the bait. I closed the door. About 7 pm I checked again and all the ants were gone except for some on the paper towel. At 9pm, NO ANTS in sight, dead or alive. I closed the door. This morning, I checked the bait and it had a couple ants floating. Hundreds of ants had disappeared. I'm hoping they took the bait back to their nest. I'm a believer in Terro ant bait. I'd give it 10 stars if I could. I am glad I had the sweet and sour on my jacket...it revealed exactly where the ants were getting in. Ants coming into the bathroom were dying because of bug spray. I have been cleaning them up for days. The Terro bait not only kills, but leave no ants to clean up. Ps. I cut off tab of bait and held it upright because of issues reported by others. No problems to report.

Great Product
This stuff really works once you figure out placement. Does what it says. The ants are drawn to it, problem solved. Thank you TERRO.

Ox, the Oversized Beagle Pup, Says It's Delish, but the Indigestion is Wicked Bad Later On.
Every summer we deal with ants, but this year's have been off the charts! They're everywhere, these tiny sugar ants. They spring up in the kitchen, and then they're swarming out of the baseboards near the front door, and next thing I know they're upstairs, in the bathroom! The heck? In previous years, I've been able to ward them off naturally by mixing a homemade thing I got off the internet and while it's messy, it's worked for me. This year I had to go deeper. Peppermint spray worked until it dried, so I could spray the kitchen, then make breakfast in peace, but come dinnertime, they were back! Same with lemon essential oil. Finally in a fit of irritation, I ordered some spray that is supposed to be safe indoors, and it is effective where I have used it...but I can't spray that stuff in the food prep areas of the kitchen! So I came back to Amazon--again--and entered "pet safe ant killer for kitchen." Up popped these little traps. Hey, that isn't messy, and it keeps the chemicals away from the food. Good deal. So I bought some. And although I have NOT seen the stream of ants that the packaging suggested, eagerly diving into the poison so they could take its delicious toxins back to the colony, I have seen fewer ants. Every time I think I have it solved, it turns out there's yet another colony; this time it's the living room baseboards. So I went ahead and stuck one of these things on a baseboard. I'd tried putting it up high on the window, out of reach of our dog, but the ants didn't seem to want it bad enough to climb up there and get it, so I stuck it down lower. Here's the thing. If your dog is a small critter with tiny jaws, or if you have one or more cats, you're probably okay. Likewise if you have a sedentary pet that isn't real curious and likes to just lay around, no worries. But if you have a very curious, very active animal with strong jaws and a powerful prey drive--which means they are motivated by scent more than by what their owner tells them to do--then you've gotta hide these things but good. I had just concluded that the baseboard might not be secure and was about to move the trap underneath the recliner, when I spotted what was left of it in the dog's bed. Ox, the Oversized Beagle Pup, technically no longer a puppy, but still active and ambitious, had made a snack of it. All of the toxins were out of the plastic, and they were inside of the dog. A trip through the internet told me that one trap would not kill him, but that diarrhea would likely be in his future (and mine!) Happily, he let me know when it was time, and I got the door open with about five seconds to spare. So...if you have pets that might compromise the casing of the traps, or crawling babies that put everything in their mouths, be really careful about where you put these traps. I'm glad it didn't turn out worse than it did.

Took care of an ant problem in our bathroom and kitchen, but patience is required.
I woke up one morning and saw tons of tiny odorous ants all over our metal garbage can with foot-activated cover. Apparently they found something they liked in our garbage and had an ant trial going from the garbage can to under the baseboard near the stove. I had never even seen one ant indoors until then. I sprayed Clorox cleaner all over them and wiped them up and took out the garbage. For the next week, I'd see a few crawling around the kitchen counter and continued to spray Clorox all over them and where I thought they were emerging. At the same time, all of a sudden they are in our bathroom just across from the kitchen. I have no idea where they are coming from. I put one of these ant traps near the sink, because I keep seeing them in and around the sink. After several hours, a bunch of them are sucking poison up from the Terro ant bait and I can see that the ants are coming from underneath the light fixture over the bathroom mirror. I moved the trap right next to the light fixture. After a few hours, once the ants re-orient themselves to where the trap has moved to, they start a train to carry the poison from the bait to, I guess, wherever their nest is. This goes on for about a day. Next, no more ants to be seen anywhere. They have left the ant bait and they are not coming from beneath the light fixture anymore. Problem solved, it seems. Edit: The ants came back. They disappeared for two days and them came back in many numbers, still sucking food out of the bait. I hope they die soon. I will update this review if and when they totally disappear. Edit: It is Dec. 27, it seems this product has eliminated the ants in the bathroom. It took about three or four waves of ants over several days, probably about two weeks from when I first wrote this review. Also, we continued to have a big ant problem in the kitchen. I put out two of these traps and again figured out where the ants were coming from. Again, it took about three or four major "ant parties' in the bait to get to the point where we see few if any ants. Today, I see none. So, these work, but you have to be patient and you have to put up with a ton of ants going in and out of the trap for at least a few days and maybe up to two weeks. I suppose it depends on how big the ant colony is.

Does not attract ants. They completely ignore the product. Installed in multiple places right next to ant entry and exit locations and along their paths. Not one single ant in, near or on bait pack in 3 days. All walk around it. Waste of good money.

Got rid of ants in a couple of days.

Honestly I had some doubts on whether this will work or not. Ants finally stopped coming inside my house. I followed instructions to stick the ant box poison in a shaded area, kept one near the entrance of the house and I no longer see them near my door or inside my house. I’ve been using the ant poison box now for 2 weeks. Not sure until when it will last but worth to buy again.

I have no idea how this product works. Initially i thought it was useless as ants were passing by it and non of them going inside the bait. But i just left it there for a couple of weeks and strangely enough after 2 weeks there were ZERO ants at my home. Not even one!
