Lightweight
Lightweight but functional for an inexpensive set. Works great for cookie dough meatballs n softer ice cream so far. Not sure about sturdiness on hard ice cream...

Broken, useless
Very poor quality product. Two of the scoops arrived broken. The middle piece with the gear was pulled out. I figured I could fix it by feeding it back through the holes and aligning it with the metal teeth of the grip. Turns out, they don't even align. When I tried to alter it back into place, it kept popping back out of place. The smallest one came unbroken, but quickly broke with first use. Returning these and getting a much better brand. Please don't go through the hassle like I did.

OK buy for the money
Purchased these scoops primarily for scooping cookie dough and melons, such as cantaloupe, watermelon, etc . Have not used them yet but think they'll be fine. They should also do well scooping softened ice cream but not freezer hard ice cream. Constructed from a lighter-weight gauge of steel they are a little flimsy. But as stated: they are inexpensive. You get what you pay for!The seller's follow-up customer contact seeking an honest review of the product was persuasive.

I brought this for making fried Mac n cheese balls. Works really well. Love the different size choices!

Too good to be True
I was really looking for a scoop for cookie dough, so this three pack looked like a great deal. The larger scoop was billed as an ice cream scoop and my kids immediately put it to use. It broke on the first try. The smaller scoops seem to work as melon ballers or dough scoops, but be aware that this is a cheaply made product.

Great ice cream scoop!
As a devotee of frozen yogurts, some form of ‘froyo’ is my typical dessert and mood elevator. The scoop makes serving it very simple, and cleaning it is a breeze.
