Cedral Tassoni presents the first tonic water made with natural citron. Pure and crystal clear, the new tonic water has the distinctive citrusy flavour of citron topped with aromatic herbal notes.Tassoni’s special recipe is naturally refreshing and low in sugar. Rather than using traditional quinine, the new tonic is made with the extract of the quassia tree, which contains quassin, known for its beneficial bitterness.The base of carbonated demineralized water with the addition of citric acid enhances the natural flavours, and unique, fresh blend of citrus notes. Cedral Tassoni presents its carbonated soft drink with extract of elderflower and low dosage of sugar. The natural aroma is extracted from the small white flowers after an infusion to reach a floral and fruity flavor reminiscent of the Muscat grapes. Distilled lemon peels give the fresh fragrance. The base consists of demineralized water with a small amount of added sugar, extract of elderflower, carbon dioxide, citric acid, lemon flavor and other aromas extracted from fruits processed in our labs. The label was created by a careful research that combines under the company logo the purple color of the berries and the delicate white of elderflowers.The bottle used for Tassoni Soda constitutes a veritable piece of design and is recognized and loved by consumers as much as the drink itself. The bottle containing the drink is a 180ml one, made of clear rough transparent glass – similar to the citron peel effect – which enhances the color and the brightness of the drink. No label is attached on the bottle: initially the branding “Tassoni Soda” was imprinted directly on the glass. In later years, the bottle became more and more basic: the branding and ingredients reported exclusively on the unmistakable yellow and green top. However, on the new 2013 bottle the branding reclaims its place on the glass as a “vintage” tribute to the tradition and history of Cedrata Tassoni.
