Very compact but entirely functional and well-made. Construction overall is very solid, although the rotary gear will skip if you use too much force. I've drilled into polycarbonate and brass with bits over 1/2" without a problem, exceeding it's claimed operational parameters. Just go lightly if you're boring into something really hard.

Works as a manual drill but not with the included bits and also heavier than I expected. Not sure why other people are saying this does not work. It is all metal and operated smoothly for me. The included bits are junk but I was able to use the much thicker and better quality bits from my Fiskars manual drill which broke thus the reason I needed a new manual drill. There were no instructions but none was needed cause I have used a manual drill before. Search Youtube if you need instructions. For $22, its a good but definitely get a better set of bits.

This little drill is everything I was hoping for . I wanted to install new knobs on my cabinet’s doors, bought a small cordless drill that took like a century to make one hole . So I ordered this one because it was powered by MY HAND and it took a little long to come , it also brought very tiny bits but I had mine . I made those holes in seconds . Mind you I have not much experience using drills . So I am very happy , and have my knobs installed .

This is by no means a precision crafted tool. The gears have a tendency to disengage under heavier loads, and seem to mesh rather loosely. However, it did the job I intended for it, and it's inexpensive. It should work well enough for lighter tasks. I haven't used the included bits.

A hand drill is so handy for small tasks that don't require an electric equipment or that can benefit from the control of doing it slowly and manually. This is a good hand drill. I had sturdier ones, but it is doing its job. The drills that come with it aren't bad, but you can replace them. The chuck is OK. Overall, I like it and would buy again.

I would say this is only for very lightweight projects as the tool is not robust - the gears are plastic and do not turn smoothly. Not sure I'd want to depend on this. Returning.

Bad quality, tread of the drill doesn‘t even allow to mount the drill head correctly. Impossible to drill a precise hole even in pine wood, device does not turn vertically. Tried in spite of the problem, strongest drill broke at first occasion.

I can drill holes through all wood types, all polymers and even some steel if it is thin enough. Great purchase! Great Price!

Tolles Produkt benutze aber auch große HSS Bohrer in ihm habe ihn mir als Leise Alternative für allgmein anfallende Arbeiten gekauft da er nicht so Laut ist wie eine Elektronische Lösung aber dafür kann man ihn vollkommen Problemlos nutzen ist ein Hanbohrer wie er sein muss Gute Qualität gute verarbeitung druch die angenehme Kurbel aufhängung auch mit wenig Kraft nutzbar. Benutze ihn in Metall wie auch Holz klappt Super auch mit großen HSS Bohrern nicht nur dem Kleinen Minni Bohrern die bei gelegt sind. Tja brauch halt ein bisschen Muskel schmalz aber sowas kann man vorallem in Mietshäusern sehr gut nutzen da wie gesagt macht keinen Lärm beim arbeiten. Dadruch auch zu Nacht zeiten oder Spät abends nutzbar.

I am very pleased with this drill set. This drill will last me for life because of the quality of the parts and the design. The packaging was/is very good as well. After applying clear packing tape on all the corners and sides, I am using the box it came in for permanent storage. Fair price!
