4' Double Ball-shaped Boxwood Topiary in Plastic Pot Two Tone Green

I got exactly what I was looking for. Realistic look for fake plants and able to put flowers around the base for an even better look. I plan to change out the base flowers whenever I want for a completely different look to go with the seasons. I just took the concrete small base that the topiary plant comes in and placed it in a bigger pot, weighed it down with sand and pebble rock and put a mossy layer on top to finish it off. Now I have the perfect trees that require no watering and look fantastic all the time. Great value for the money!

I just received the topiaries for Mother's Day and added them to my existing urns. They are perfect and hassle-free. Required minimal fluffing out of the box. Yes, they look plastic up close, but the trunks are life-like and totally look amazing and high-end. No breakage or fading. Mine are on a deep covered porch out of the elements. It has been the perfect solution for us. Nothing to keep watered on the porch or the mess that would come along with it.

Life-like and very green. Balls are thick and sturdy, so thick that it was hard to shove little twinkle lights in it, though I persevered. The base is HEAVY. Obviously you have to conceal the teeny base in another pot, but once you do and cover it with decorative rocks, this baby isn't going anywhere. Withstood gale-force winds on the front porch throughout winter. And -- bonus!! -- it seems to repel spiders. None have taken up residence (unlike my live arbor vitae in nearby pots which I have to spray all the time), though it's been a cold winter so maybe they all died before they could make it to this topiary.

After years of killing plants on my front porch I decided to go the faux route. I couldn’t be happier. They are very realistic looking, even up close. I read a couple of reviews saying that the trunk has broken so I put them in fairly tall pots and filled them with rocks hoping it would make them a little sturdier. They are under a fairly deep covered front porch so they really aren’t exposed to the elements. The packaging wasn’t the greatest but it only took a few minutes to fluff them up. I bought both of mine through Amazon warehouse and ended up saving a decent amount and they were in great condition.

The height of these trees is good for a standard front door and they look realistic from the street. I purchased two planter boxes from The Home Depot and I found things around the house and yard to support the small weighted pot inside the larger pot. Then I filled it with potting soil and added live ivy plants at the base. The realistic looking trunk is crafted of weather proof material of some kind and the leaves are plastic, so it should do well outside. If you really study it, it's obviously a fake, but few people will do that. These trees will definitely be more economical in the long run as maintaining live trees in pots in our location would be nearly impossible. I took away one star because the plastic stems under the top ball show more than necessary, otherwise it's great.

These topiaries looked fantastic when I took them out of the box… Within a few weeks, they began to fade… You can tell they are faded up cloaks and from the street now… They faded to a light blue gray color and are no longer green.

My topiary plants look great outside, but there was a split in the main branch and within 2 days outside it has split more, maybe from the sun/heat?? Guess I should have contacted them and sent it back when I opened it and discovered the defect, but honestly returning large items is not so easy. So, they look real, but the quality I feel is not that great...
