Picture quality is sensational.
Absolutely brilliant! Plugged into PC and selected ‘camera’. Everything up and working - no downloading.It took a few attempts at sliding the cone to the best focal length but when achieved the picture quality is really good. Easy picture collecting or video if preferred.The instrument has a long lead therefore no restriction. The in-line rotary switch enables the light intensity to be adjusted.For looking into ears the instrument if first class - well worth every penny.As a bonus if you have a pet which scratches a lot this instrument would be ideal for checking at the base of the hairs or fur. Might be useful for vets as it is easily mobile and can be plugged in to iphones.Very quick and easy ordering, two days later I was using it.There are screens full of similar instruments ranging from much cheaper to OMG how much? This one is excellent and I would recommend it fully.

Good otoscope
I am an otolaryngologist. I bought this otoscope in order to better help patients understand the problem. It has a high quality camera and it's easy to see everything. It looks great and is easy to use. It helps a lot of kids when they can grab small things anywhere. It's easy to connect to your phone and use it. Recommended, good otoscope for home use

Wish I had returned it
I bought this with high hopes, but have never got a picture out of it. Just can’t get it to work. Can’t find any apps for it and have tried it on my new computer as well as IPad. It lights up, but I didn’t buy it as a light! Perhaps someone could tell me where I am going wrong. Crap instructions too.

Very disappointing
Software for PC will not download so could not get the camera to work, the camera LED is bright but gets wormer than expected after only a couple of minutes switch on.Very disappointing purchase and a complete waist of money.

I bought it because my girlfriend's ear is not comfortable recently. Look at my girlfriend's ear. I took out all the earwax in about 10 minutes, and it works very well! I would recommend caution in the use of this device because the ears are very fragile and can cause injury if used carelessly, even under direct vision. But it is a good, very clear image. Affordable!
