Great quality, easy to run and works great
I've bought several units of this cable for some indoor and outdoor speakers. The cable is great quality, feels "solid" and whilst it is rigid due to the solid core nature of the cable it is flexible enough that if you are pulling it under the floor etc it is easy enough to do. Compared to other brands this is absolutely great value and works exactly as expected. The only thing I could ask is for them to do a black version however for the cost it is absolutely not a deal breaker

Great quality speaker cable at a bargain price!
I'm a big fan of Amazon Basics speaker cable - it's great quality for the price, solid yet flexible (if you know what I mean!) and the really good value for money. I've used it for a number of different applications over the years and can't fault it in any way - the most recent purchase was for running from my amp to surround sound speakers, which it's ideal for. I've spent a lot more per meter in the past and there's no noticeable difference to my ears, this is great value cable that performs superbly. Highly recommended.

Quite thick cable , well insolated
Amazon basic speaker wire 12 gauge 30 metres Didn't realise how thick the casing was had a bit of trouble stripping the cable and ordered the wrong size cable hooks , the copper wires also gave me problem connecting to my amplifier due to thickness , however after all of this I enjoy the sound coming from my speakers . I would buy again

Good value for OFC 12 Awg (4mm2) speaker wire.
Review on 12 Awg (4mm2) I recently purchased a set of (x4) DJ/PA 3 way speakers 1000w total and 1000w amp (manufacturers figures) so 250 watts each speaker with a 10” sub per box so a decent thickness in wire would be required to move the subs. This OFC wire was not much more than the CCA wire & I have 30 year old OFC (2mm2) on my hifi stuff & it still looks like new so no brainer to buy this, my hifi amps will only really accept the (2mm2) but these DJ/PA speakers & amp are all post connections & will easily accept x2 4mm2 cables to each post ie speakers wired in parallel. I also considered using electrical copper wire 4mm2 (conduit wiring – similar price to OFC) but it doesn’t really have the flexibility as this wire & reasoning is with multiple strands if one strand breaks its minimal signal/power loss & also conduit copper isn’t milled the same. So to conclude you will probably only buy this once & for the minimal difference in price over CCA its worth it (hifi I would use the 14 Awg - 2mm2), easy to remove insulation score lightly with knife bend cable to break insulation pull off with fingernails.

More ‘pro’ looking than the standard, and significantly thicker.
OK, first off, this wire is much thicker than the 16-gauge stuff. It’s twice the price and probably twice the thickness of the standard amazon speaker wire. The two strands are twisted inside an outer white plastic sheath. So the cable has a kind of twisted texture because of the way the wires are wound within. It is a much more ‘pro’ looking cable than the classic see through orangey standard speaker cable. I have no basis for comparing the sound quality with the standard 16 gauge stuff. They both work. I have wired up my front cinema speakers with this stuff and they work with no problems so far. It would be interesting to A/B test these cables to see if they make any difference. They are heavy duty and look the part. Also they are white which is more discrete for my space, so that’s the real bonus. Will report back if I have any issues going forward.

It is what it is – not good for my intended use – but it is a 5 star product
I've used this wire to attach 3 speakers to an AVR: • Front Left • Center • Front Right I was intending, before I purchased it, to use it for the Left and Right surround channels too. It is too thick/heavy and unsightly to do that in my house – my partner rightfully looked horrified when I suggested it and that reaction was justified. It is stark white, and very thick making it particularly conspicuous when attempting to trail it for any length. It's conspicuous when used for the two front speakers either side of the screen. The centre speaker is ok because it sits on a shelf directly above the AVR and within a unit that obscures the cables at the back... but that required a length of cable around 2 feet long and frankly this reel is far too long for my use case. If you're in a domestic situation I would avoid this and instead look for an alternative "micro" wire with a transparent or markedly less conspicuous thickness that can be more easily pushed under skirting boards etc. As for the cable, if you're in the market for a thick and resilient wiring this is actually a really good product and within the thick outer cover, the sub wires are also well covered and coloured red/black all the way along for easy identification. The cable is on a card spool and was initially covered in thin transparent plastic. Delivery was quick (Prime) and the product is exactly as described – I just didn't realise it was going to be quite a hardy as it actually is – you have to break it in with lots of (probably bad for the wiring) bending. In the end I purchased a more expensive (but cut to length) "micro" wire which was much more suitable for running in the gaps around the edges of the room and fit inside the speaker stands to further obscure it.

This speaker wire has surprised me it is the best value for money and best quality. The jacket is pretty stiff and pretty hard in colour white so you can run it through conduit under the wall or on under the floor. I ordered the 12 awg and trust me these wires are amazing to very thick and hard time putting through the Denon binding post but quality is amazing. I also have the C&E 14awg ones for 4k for surround speakers as 12 awg were not available and hard to wire across the conduit these ones beat the C&E any day. Setup- Q acoustic 3050i floor standers, q acoustic 3090 centre and sem for surround 3010 and monitor audio sub powered by Denon x 2700h with the LG IPS 4K 65 inch panel

My system includes Yamaha av receiver, wharfedale diamond 220 speakers, Polk audio psw125 subwoofer, Polk audio center channel speaker and pioneer surround speakers. My listening area is around 70 Sq. Mts. I like to listen to high resolution audio and watch movies. Pros: It is built to last, a sturdy chord. Pure oxygen free copper Looks good, add to the overall appearance of the set up. Delivery was spot on At this price it is a complete value for money. Sound quality : I haven't felt any significant difference when I heard music for the first time but after listening to music for couple of hours there is improvement in sound quality. There is significant reduction in distortion. Overall : it is a awesome product, looks good, feels good and will definitely make improvement in sound quality in any setup.
