Failed OSHA Inspection And Has A Weird Cigarette Smell
I bought this for the dental practice I work for. When we had an OSHA inspector come to check everything, they "failed" the office because the thyroid collar does not come with any manufacturers tags or labels on the collar. Apparently all lead aprons/other protective x-ray gear needs a manufacturers tag that states what material it is made out of and other data related to the material being used. The collar did come with a separate slip with some kind of Asian writing on it but that was it.Also we've owned it for a few weeks now and aince taking it out of the package it has smelled like cigarette smoke. Repeatedly wiping it off with Cavicide wipes and other disinfectants has not made the smell go away. It's pretty gross!
