Love this little guy. I've had a couple for over 20 years. Useful for opening mail, boxes, fishing, all sorts of things (do not use for prying, don't do it). Has held up like brand new and multifunctional. Recently lost one which showed me how much I use them so I repurchased. There are some little differences in stamping on the metal, but looks pretty much the same. I'm looking forward to seeing if these new little guys last 20years as well. Cannot say enough good things about this knife and brand.

The best knife in the world is the one you have with you, and this one is so compact and easy to carry, and it's sharp enough to shave with (don't do that). Serrated is the way to go. Cuts way faster. I've bought 3 and replaced them as I gave them away to friends. It is my favorite knife I've ever had, ever. Bigger ones are too big and scare people if you use them in public. Buy it! Buy three!

I have had one of these for years with the primary intent of using it when backpacking. Great for cutting cord and tape and useful for other situations that may require a sharp blade. When I say sharp blade I mean it. This is about the sharpest little bugger I have ever had and you need to be careful not to let it "get away" from you during use. Very light and durable. I was concerned it might be too small but works out to be ideal for my needs.

This is the VERY best small jackknife. I have since bought a second jackknife to have available, and do not like it as well. This knife is lightweight, easy to carry on a keychain, small enough to fit in a drawer without taking up much space, and is sturdier than the 2nd knife I bought. My biggest regret is that this jackknife is not longer available on Amazon. I hope it is soon available again. I almost lost this, by almost forgetting to remove this from my keychain before taking off for the airport -- and at this time, I would be unable to replace it. Hoping it's available from Amazon again soon.

This little pocket knife is awesome! Fits in my pocket on my key ring. The little 2" blade is perfect for so many things. Cutting through everything with ease. Very sharp. Lightweight & tough. Love it!

I like this little guy very much. It fits on the key chain and is small, it locks into place and I have access to a knife at my finger tips when needed. Highly recommended. But I think I'd get the non serrated one next time as they are easier to sharpen. This one is not all that sharp but exactly what I wanted in a key ring knife. Worth the money as all else seems to be cheap junk. This one is good quality.

Très déçu car j'ai reçu un couteau miniature 70 euros. Alors OK c'est pas n'importe quel couteau mais je m'entendais pas à ça, je trouve que c'est vraiment abusé. Je comptais acheter le mois prochain celui à 130 e ,ben je pense que je vais aller ailleurs. Et la prochaine fois je regarde les dimensions parce que à ce prix là 70e un couteau migratoire, j'hésite à le renvoyer, vraiment déçu 😞!!!

Das Spyderco Ladybug 3 ist ein wahres Mini-Wunder – ein ultrakompaktes, sehr hochwertig verarbeitetes Messer, das sich problemlos im Schlüsselbund tragen lässt und in vielerlei Hinsicht überzeugt. Gleichzeitig hat diese Größe aber auch ihre Schattenseiten. Vorteile, die ICH feststellen konnte: 1. Hervorragende Verarbeitungsqualität Trotz seiner winzigen Abmessungen spürt man direkt, dass hier kein billiger „Spar-Bug“, sondern ein wohl durchdachtes Präzisionswerkzeug vorliegt. Klinge und Mechanik wirken präzise gefertigt, das Spiel ist minimal, der Back-Lock sitzt sicher. 2. Einhand-Bedienung sehr gut möglich Das charakteristische runde Spyderco-Loch in der Klinge ermöglicht eine schnelle Einhandöffnung (man muss es nur üben, wie man es mit einer Hand öffnet). In Kombination mit dem kompakten Griff lässt sich das Messer sehr schnell ausklappen und arretieren. 3. Made in Japan Einige Varianten des Ladybug 3 stammen aus der Seki City-Produktion in Japan (meine kam auch aus Japan). Das spricht für hohe Fertigungskompetenz und trägt entscheidend zur Qualität bei (nach meiner Meinung!!!) 4. Scharfe, leistungsfähige Klinge Viele Modelle nutzen Klingenstähle wie VG-10, bekannt für gute Schnitthaltigkeit und eine scharfe Schneide (ich hatte mit den Messern aus VG10 keine Probleme und halten ewig). Selbst bei der geringen Klingenlänge merkt man: Das Messer ist keine reiner „Gag“, sondern voll funktionsfähig. 5. Extrem kompakt & leicht Mit einer Klingenlänge um 4,8–4,9 cm und einem Gewicht von nur etwa 16–20 g (je nach Variante) ist es kaum wahrnehmbar im Alltag. Diese geringe Größe macht es ideal für den Schlüsselbund, kleine Schneidaufgaben oder als Notbehelf, je nach Situation halt Nachteile, die ICH feststellen konnte: 1. Preis relativ hoch Für ein so kleines Messer ist der Preis oftmals recht hoch. Die Fertigungsqualität, der Stahl und die Herkunft rechtfertigen diesen zwar teilweise, doch man zahlt schon „Bug-Tax“: sehr wenig Klinge, aber hochwertig verarbeitet, was sich im Preis niederschlägt. 2. Griffmaterial – kein Premium-Feeling Die Griffschalen bestehen bei vielen Modellen aus FRN (glasfaserverstärktes Nylon). Das ist leicht und funktional, vermittelt aber nicht das hochwertige, „handfeste“ Gefühl, das man z. B. von G10 oder Metallgriffen kennt. Der Kunststoff wirkt etwas einfach und kann sich nicht so luxuriös anfühlen, wie man es bei manchen anderen Messern in dieser Preisklasse erwarten könnte. Da bin ich sehr enttäuscht. Fazit (,was ich denke!): Das Spyderco Ladybug 3 Ultra Compact ist ein exzellentes kleines Messer für den Alltag, das besonders durch seine Verarbeitung, Schärfe und die Möglichkeit der Einhandbedienung überzeugt. Für EDC-Nutzer, die ein echtes Utility-Werkzeug im Schlüsselbund-Format suchen, ist es eine sehr gute Wahl. Wenn man jedoch vor allem auf Materialwertigkeit oder ein günstigeres Kleinstmesser aus ist, könnte der Preis im Verhältnis zur Größe abschrecken. Insgesamt: sehr empfehlenswert für diejenigen, die Qualität & Funktion in kompakter Form schätzen – aber kein reines „Sparfuchs-Messer“
