Excellent quality for the price. Very well made and good steel
It hold very well our heavy 41' yacht, also with very strong wind. No sign of stress or corrosion after 1 year use. Largely recommended considering the low price

Does not work well
This is the prettiest anchor I ever owned. Unfortunately, it's also the worst performing anchor I ever owned. I do my boating on the east coast with a 30' outboard boat, normally near an inlet. The tides can run quite strongly. The prevailing bottom is clean sand. Anchoring on the beach (bow out) requires a good bow anchor and a decent stern anchor. I use a delta style anchor for the bow, and purchased this 5.5KG (~ 12 pounds) anchor for the stern. The shank is 17.5 inches long, and the flukes are 13.5 inches long by 4.5 inches at the widest point. I have about 10' of chain attached to it. One of the main problems is the very short stock, 14", which is supposed to help keep the anchor from turning over. This anchor will not attain the proper position, it merely rolls. It never sets unless you do it manually. Even then it rarely holds, because the angle between the shank and flukes is too great. This makes the flukes try to set almost straight down, which means the flukes do not hold the bottom efficiently (at all). When you are trying to anchor at the beach alongside other boats, the consequences can be disastrous when the your anchor lets go. Despite spending a high price for this pretty anchor, I have no choice but to replace it.
