Goalsetter Adjustable Acrylic Backboard Wall Mounted Basketball Goal - Multiple Size and Rim Options Available

Yeah, it isn't cheap, but I did a stupid amount of research. This was the only one I found that was wall-mounted and adjusted down to 6 feet, which is great for my small kids. This thing is rock solid. The rim makes that deep "thunk" sound when a ball hits it that you hear when you watch an NBA game. I am so glad I didn't get one of the portable units that most of my neighbors have. My wife was a bit pissed at me about the cost initially, until she saw how much the kids were enjoying it.

After reading all the reviews I decided to hire a person to install this product. I wanted to invest more on a good product (official board size 72'') that looks professional. I saw other cheaper options but since this was something that it will stay for years here at home, my kid its almost 12 and I wanted to choose something that worth it and recreate a more professional experience. I loved also the option to pay in 4-5 installments with Amazon.For installation, since this is very heavy, my main concern was to make sure the product was properly installed so it wont fall down causing a tragedy, so as you can see in the pictures, we made sure to use the best materials to fix it to the concrete wall. Im really happy with this product, now I have to continue the project with some concrete floor, in the meantime we are enjoying practicing some shooting. :-)

This goal is amazing! Worked perfect for the set up I needed. The raising and lowering is smooth and easy, but can be tiresome if going from 6ft (yes it can go down to 6ft and a little more) to 10ft (a lot of cranking but worth it for the quality). Also keep in mind how far out the goal sticks from the wall at each height. I installed this my self. The install was straight forward but did require 2 people. It was easy but took some time to make sure I did it right and drilling into brick is not a small task. I used 8 bolts. You can use up to 12. I picked up some of these bolts and they have worked so far [...]. The overall construction and quality of this goal is excellent. The rim is sturdy and can handle strong dunks. The backboard is solid and has no dead or weak spots. The edges or the backboard and the frame are not sharp, which is nice since I haven't purchased a pad (and there is not a major need to). The support arms are very sturdy and strong. I would put this goal up with any brand out there and highly recommend

professional level product, extremely easy to put up, every part fit like a glove, mostly preassembled.I definitely would recommend the acrylic over the glass.the entire set up once mounted doesn't even rattle or squeak on a rim shot whatsoever.Thomas
