awesome tiny vacuum
This vacuum is great for picking up dry wall dust, dog hair, cat litter, and small dirt. The mouth is a bit too small for things like leaves or large pebbles. Works great for clean up installs on drilling dry wall and its small enough to fit in my tool bag. The size to power ratio was really surprising. The filter does get debris in it easily, but I just put a dryer sheet over the filter and that kept it clean 100 times better. Apparently, the replacement filter is a bit tough to get a hold of, but I have used mine literally every day since the purchase with the dryer sheet over the filter and have found it in great condition. It would be nice to have it a tiny bit more power, but for the easy and compact size, its hard to complain; the thing works awesome on finishing installs and helping to keep my hardwood floors clean. I have several bosch 12v units, so having batteries on demand is really awesome. This is no shop vac, don't explect a 5hp motor, but for the size it is 100% worth having to clean up any job on the finishing side.

Decent but its size limits use.
I am a contractor, and have opted for mostly Bosch tools over the years. This is a mini vacuum. To be clear it has decent suction when the filter is completely clean (true of all small cordless vacuums). The debris collector is small. I will be using this to clean up very small messes like when cutting sheetrock to install an outlet. It is handy and lightweight. I rate it only 3 stars due to the limited use. Could have more power, but at it's size adding to the motor would add weight. Good for quick small clean up, and the nozzle that comes with it gets into very tight crevices.

High quality, runs quietly and performs well.
This vac is of high quality, runs quietly and performs well. Like all vacs in this class, you do not get a lot of suction out of it so it will never replace a shop vac. I knew that going in. I am a Computer/Printer Technician and just needed a gentle vac for quick dust and toner extraction. A shop vac might actually be harmful for that.If you are heavy duty carpenter, mason etc. generating even a moderate amount of debris -- this vac will be worthless for you.

For light cleanup chores
I got this for the same reason many other reviewers noted: I had a Bosch 12v power tool that came with an extra battery. Also as noted by others, this vac is good for dry wall particle clean-up and similar jobs. I also found it useful for under-desk dust bunnies, etc.It is compact and light, and the grip handle is comfortable, even inviting. The on/off switch falls right under the thumb. The Bosch colors and design give a nice professional look.

This is a real vacum, not a toy.
I did not know if this was going to a toy or a remade dustbuster type. I should never doubt Bosch. This is a real vacum that has real suction power. Don't let the size fool you. And the fact that it fits in an L Boxx1 with my Bosch 12v reciprocating saw. Perfect combo for the mess after sawing. I own just about every 12v item Bosch makes, drills, saws, flashlights, radio, lasers, scanner, almost every bit, blade, and accessory and now a vacum.

Good for bread crumbs, not much more.
Don't have your hopes up using this for general shop use. It barely has the power to pick up light saw dust.Inside you have a 36x48mm 10.8V "70W" DC motor, smaller than even the venerable 775 motors used in most cheap appliances.Off into the trash it goes.

I had low expectations and I was still disappointed.
This thing would be okay at maybe $30 but it's not worth the $67 I paid. It was clearly an afterthought by Bosch, not built to the quality of their other 12V tools. It has hardly any suction and isn't good for much at all. Barely picks up crumbs off carpet. It's not even made out of the same materials, it's ABS plastic. Best thing I can say about it is that the battery life is pretty good as far as these handheld vacuums go.Pros:SmallQuietTakes the Bosch batteries you already haveDecent battery lifeCons:No suction, good for sawdust AT MOSTNozzle is too short to get into crevasses like under car seatsTiny filter clogs within minutesCheap constructionThe nozzle extension doesn't fold, it just comes off, so there's no storage for it.

Great if you know it’s limitations
i use this for work, specifically when I have to drill into drywall. This cleans up the small mess it generates. Professional when people see you come prepared. It’s compact and durable.

Had for couple years now. Still working great.
Had for couple years now. Still working great. Perfect for shop and simple pickups around the house. Way more reliable than any other hand-vac have owned. Run time on a charge is way better than our Dyson.

Great tool
I also use Bosch 12v drills, so I had pre-existing battery AND charger. Boy, is this vacuum LIGHT. I used to have a 18v SHARK car vacuum which is about 20% larger than this vacuum, also wireless. That thing weighs about 2kg, this BOSCH weighs about 600 grams WITH battery. It makes cleaning such a wonderful task, especially when I have TWO batteries on hand, I don't wait for recharge. (The SHARK vacuum doesn't have removable battery, and WILL not turn on when charging, so you can't charge and clean if you wanted to)The bad.The suction on BOSCH is slightly worse than my 18v SHARK, but this is a 12v model, the suction is only about 20% less? It's still very good, but not amazing. If my SHARK 18v wireless vacuum was a 9/10, this BOSCH 12v vacuum be a 7.5/10 in suction. I've had the pleasure of borrowing my neighbours' lithium Dyson, that is a 10/10 suction. Oh and the price tag? 20/10, not buying it. The waste collection capacity of the unit is crap, after one good cleaning with one full charge of my 12v lithium batteries, when I switch to the 2nd battery, I also have to empty the entire compartment. This vacuum WILL not survive 2nd cleaning without emptying it's contents. The runtime is about 15-20 minutes on one charge, my batteries are only 2 months old. This is the standard 12v bosch battery, not the extended version, I can't speak for that one.The bright side is, my arms don't feel tired when I finish using this vacuum because it's light. I call this a good product with it's good sides that is more important than it's bad sides.

Small and convenient
Great for small spaces, I use it often for cleaning my car. Appreciate the lboxx tray, all bosch tools should come with their trays.
