Blueberry Pet 4 Colors 3M Reflective Multi-Colored Stripe Martingale Safety Training Dog Collars

i got this and the ginger color collar one year ago and gave them a good scrub today and the fabric is barely weathered, which is a miracle considering the dogs that wear them. the color has hardly faded at all, and there's very little fraying of the fibers, though the reflective tape is not going to last much longer on my rowdier dog's collar. nbd for us. the metal fittings are fading to copper but i like how it looks. these collars are definitely flexible, i don't like to leash them by the collar if i can avoid it but these work fine in a pinch, and they haven't gotten caught on anything. overall, great craftsmanship, and the colors still look great. if these things wear out i'll definitely look to bluebell for new ones!

We have a black lab mix, and wanted a high contrast color that wasn't red. We got the striped Blueberry collar and leash for him, and the light purples and blues look great! He looks super adorable in these colors.I was interested to try a Martingale because I had heard good things from trainers, vets, and the shelter we adopted our dog from. It sits comfortably loose on him without feeling insecure, and it feels like it gives me excellent control with him on walks. I think he does better with a martingale on walks than he did in a full vested harness, and now it no longer takes me ten minutes to get him in and out of it when preparing for a walk. He doesn't want to run ahead and pull anymore, and has started to respond much better to commands and guidance on walks. He trots at my side and looks up at me regularly, which is a huge improvement!He was quite proud of his new look when we first put it on, and he walked around showing it off all day. This is a great quality brand with excellent designs. We also love that it's reflective without damaging the aesthetics. Our pup is extremely tall which makes him heavy, but with a really lanky body, so collar sizing charts are usually wrong for him. Although his weight indicates a large, that would be wayyy too big for his neck. Luckily I already knew this about him, and went with a medium, which fits perfectly.

I bought this collar in hopes of trying out a Martingale with my dog for the first time. She's a little unruly on a leash because most of her training and walks are off-leash (where she does excellently) and for whatever reason the minute a leash clips on she loses her mind. My plan was to use this to help correct that behavior. Unfortunately, because the loop is just a couple of inches, this collar barely gets truly snug when pulled taught.My understanding of martingales is that they're intended to be looser and tighten when a dog pulls. Well, it works sort of, but I think if another inch or two of the collar was loop it would work much better. I found a better option that works for me.The collar itself is made out of sturdy material, the colors are vibrant and it seems durable. If you're not using it as a training collar, it will probably work just fine for you. If you're hoping to make some leash-walking progress with an unruly pup, I'd recommend to keep looking.

I needed a Martingale collar to replace another collar for my youngest dog with a smaller narrow head. He would back out of his other collars if he didn't want to do something on leash.I really like the reflectiveness of the collar and they look better than I thought they would in the pictures. I ended up getting two more for my other two dogs that really didn't need Martingale style collars. I liked the good quality and reflective aspects, especially at night. My dogs are brindle so they tend to blend into their environment easily.Because of their brindle coats,I was not sure if the collars would aesthetically look good on them with the multiple stripes. However, the collars I got for each look good. In addition they clean easily when I give them a bath and I leave the collars on, they look new again.

I have been looking for an attractive reflective color for my pup for some time and the selections are limited. I am really happy I found this collar. It is very highly reflective, there are two thin bands of the very bright reflective material that run through it. If I shine a flashlight on my dog, who is almost all black, the collar shines brightly. This will help to keep her safe when on walks at night. She is never out off-leash outside our yard, but you never know, if something bad happened and she wound up outside at night she would be highly visible in car lights or under street lamps.I must say she looks mighty fine in the olive & blue color as well, pictures are attached. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is that this model, the martingale style, doesn’t have a separate ring for tags so you have to either put them on the loop for the leash squeeze it in where the parts of collar are connected. That being said I like that they offer the martingale style. I recommend this and would buy it again.

good looking and functional collar - not heavy like the chain martingale collars, though perhaps has a little less influence on the dog (my dog anyway!). If the collar is adjusted correctly on the dog's neck, there may not be much slack to take the collar on and off. It's a bit difficult on my dog as he has had ear problems. However, overall I like the collar - bit costly if you have a dog that might chew it!

I love this collar, I wasn't sure about it when ordering. I'd never heard of a 'martingale' before. It's fantastic, my beagle, who loves to run away can no longer force his way out of the collar. Colours and material all great, very pleased.

Love it. Much better than our previous one with a half check chain. Still anti slip, but soft and lovely.

I like it because it matches the harness with the same colour design,so am very pleaded

Not a collar that you can keep on, I came in to find my girl struggling to get it off her jaw had to cut the collar off
