Not fit for purpose
This lens hood isn't even worth one star, but because Amazon's rating system won't allow it.This lens hood is not fit for purpose. As you can see from the photo it is bent and contorted and it stays like this even when fully extended. I have tried to make the hood round by cramming tissue and fabric in side but this has not worked - it is permanently this shape. As you can see the hood bends towards the middle and it appears in the image when used with my lens.UPDATE - 18.10.20After the fiasco with the 67mm hood I used the 58mm hood (which appeared okay for use) for the first time today to take some shots in the rain. As I extended the rubber hood it slipped off the metal filter ring leaving the ring attached to the lens and the rubber hood in my hand. After teasing the hood back on to the metal filter ring I tried to use it again and the rubber hood, once again slipped off. This hood is not fit for purpose. In fact I have to question the quality and reliability of this brand of rubber lens hoods. I have bought 2 (a 67mm and a 58mm) and both of them have proved unusable.

Hollow.....
I try not to give polarised 1* or 5* reviews. Rarely are things totally rubbish or absolutely perfect. I have a few lens hoods from this company and some are very good. I bought the silver 37mm to match a silver lens and this one ISN'T very good; at all. The silver matches nicely when on. It's painted silver on the outside and black on the inside. On first (and only) outing the black paint was flaking leaving silver marks under and on the outside the reverse. Silver flakes coming off with black chip like marks under. This must of taken some feat. So, two stars because at £8 someone will find use for it. Myself, I'd rather flakey paint away from expensive camera equipment. Which means the bin.

Waste of time and money. (POS)
Waste of time: wondering why it doesn’t fit the thread of your lens. And why the tension/spacer ring also doesn’t fit the thread of it’s own product. (Probably why I received a card with this product asking me to give it a 5 star rating for a discount code. So maybe don’t trust those).Time: Cheap plastic that pops on it’s own thread. Doesn’t screw it straight. Always seemed to be loose. And has no way of keeping it straight on lens.It now resides, a full 30 minutes after delivery, at the bottom of my freshly emptied bin.

Great little lens hood
Wil admit I bought this because of the price thinking if it was no good not much wasted. However I couldn't be more wrong. The packet included the lens hood AND lens cap AND a small brush (always handy) AND a small microfibre cloth (always handy) GREAT value for money. So today I tried it out. At the wide angle end of the zoom the hood has to be folded back but can be folded out after that. On my telephoto zoom lens it can be folded out all the time, I can see the hood will protect the lens very well. Excellent product and will order a second one so I don't have keep swapping them.

Quite difficult to fix to the appropriate position - revised review
This is the first time I use a universal tulip flower lens hood. I expect the additional movable ring can help to fix the position such that it can easily fix to the required position of the tulip flower. However, as the plastic is not so strong, it can easily loose if the movable ring is screwed too tight. With this "not so tight" fixing, the screw loosen easily when you take out the reversible hood from the ring.In addition, as this reversible hood has a longer ring, this can easily create a black image on the four corners of the photo if the ring is attached to a filter instead of on the lens directly. I have to attach the ring to the filter as this is the only way I can position the ring tightly with the proper tulip flower hood position. In summary, I would prefer to use the rubber type retractable hood instead of this tulip flower hood for a universal model.Revised comment:I have subsequently discussed with the seller about my issues. With the detail explanation from the seller, this vignetting effect is something expected with this type of add-on hood under wide angle lens shooting irrespective whether this is a tulip flower type or retractable type hood. I really appreciate the technical support from the vendor and quality of the lens hood provided.

Good but fiddly
Bought this as I needed a lens hood that could easily clip on and off as the screw on ones are very annoying and time consuming. Once I opened the packaging, I saw the screw mechanism and thought they had sent the wrong thing out however, to my disappointment, it doesn't clip directly to the end of the lens. The screw mechanism remains and the hood clips and unclips from that. Hence why I say it's a bit fiddly. There is a ring screw attached to the thread but I never bothered using that as it was rubbish and kept slipping. On the attachment(the bit that scores into the end of the lens), there are two red marks on opposite ends and if you line them up with the red mark on your lens, it fits perfectly and the hood is in the correct position. Once you have that attachment on, which is the fiddly bit, all is well. I would've preferred a lens hood that didn't require such a fitment but perhaps there isn't such a thing and for the price, this is fairy decent.

I have a Pentax and thought this would fit
My caera is a Pentax K-1 DSLR and my 'go anywhere' lens is 26-105mm. The petal hood is absolutely essential if shooting with the sun at either side and having lost the original I was at first put off by the £45 asking price from Pentax. So this looked like a good cheap solution. Well it doesn't fit! I can get the adapter onto the lens, but then the petal piece comes to rest with the large petals at the left and right instead of top and bottom - and that doesn't work I still get sun flare. So ...sorry, it's thumbs down for me.
