Challenging and great for gifting
I have several of these myself and find them great for gifting. It’s nice that they come in different levels of difficulty. Be aware that the higher difficulty levels may not be for everyone. I've found the quality of each to be outstanding.

A lovely and elegant Hanayama puzzle of moderate difficulty
A lovely and elegant puzzle from Hanayama. The solution is elegant and clever. I managed to disassemble the puzzle after fiddling with it for quite a while, and I had to go back to figure out what I did. While it is not frustratingly difficult, the solution is not trivial and involves some precise handling here and there. An excellent choice for trying Hanayama puzzles of moderate difficulty. Since everything is visible with nothing hidden, this is a chance to figure out the logic of the puzzle construction as you try to solve it.
