Tekna Hind Horse Boots - Large (Brown)

I bought these because I was so happy with the Tekna ergonic girth. These are terrific boots. I much prefer them to my Professionals Choice products which tend to look work pretty quickly. These really hold up great. I have them in brown and I use them for schooling but they are nice enough to go in the jumper ring. Super easy to take care of; just wash in the sink and set out to dry. I highly recommend.

The leather is a little stiff but they are a good buy for the price. They stay in place and don't rub my horse. He wasn't a fan of them at first, but he has grown accustomed to them. I usually buy professional choice jumping boots, but wanted to try a different brand. For a fraction of the cost, they do just as great of a job

The other review says the "leather is stiff"... its not leather. As description clearly states the outer shell of these is made of synthetic material. Looks like leather, and has a normal neoprene lining. I personally prefer this as you can just hose/scrub them off or throw them in the wash when they're dirty and there's no real care needed. The inside of each boot has 2 little neoprene bumps on the sides which hug the horses cannon bones to keep the boot from spinning, so you don't have to make them super tight, which is nice. A friend of mine has a pair of these that has held up to daily use on multiple horses for 5+ years. They look super classy. My horse is 16.2, I got size large and they are just right.
