Quality part if you just need glass replacement.
Accurate description. Fits 2016 GTI right side mirror perfectly. Glass replacement only. Doesn’t (and doesn’t advertise to) come with defroster and bracket). OEM bracket and defroster preferred over aftermarket, so just replacing the glass was the best choice since just the glass fell off mine. This part is made from good quality glass and adhesive. Defrost still works well. Recommend.

Perfect.
Fit our vehicle perfectly and now we have a usable side mirror. Make sure you line it up well before the adhesive touches inside the side mirror mount because that adhesive is strong! Would recommend.

Pain to remove old adhesive
Took quite awhile to remove old adhesive. Used rubbing alcohol and goo gone along with about 30 min of scrubbing. Once old adhesive was removed installing this was fairly easy. And works just as OEM.

Easy, cheap, I don't notice a difference from OEM
So easy to install it'd be silly to take your vehicle in to replace the mirror. Easy to follow instructions. Temperatures haven't got above the mid 90 degree temps yet so we will see how the adhesive holds up to the heat. I'll update if it falls off this summer.

2015 GTI side mirror (glass only)
The glass part of my mirror came unglued from the side mirror housing and fell off while I was driving. I only needed to replace the glass itself. I have heated mirrors too, so I was concerned that might be a problem finding a proper replacement, but I was wrong. The mirror was an exact fit, and came with a small heating element embedded on the backside of the glass itself. I simply connected the plug from the side mirror housing to the connector on the glass. Then you just push the pre-glued glass onto the holding plate. OMG the pre-glued backing was EXTREMELY strong, and has made it through months of driving and at least a dozen automated cash washings. If you need just the glass part of the mirror, THUS IS THE ONE !!

Fits perfectly
Lost passenger side glass only on the freeway. My car is 2015 VW Golf SE 4-door hatchback. I didn’t quite line up one side with enough room so it’s a tight fit. The tilt is perfectly adjusted. Just hop and it stays in place.

Perfect Fit
I wasn't sure about getting the part online, but when it arrived it was a perfect fit, directions were found on their website and the adhesive sent covers the entire lens which is much better than how the mirror came from VW. Now I have to remember to not leave the heaters on so this one doesn't fall off.

Easy and Effective
This product what affordable, easy to install and works well. Alternative options to this product were in the $200+ range or I would have to wait for shipping from overseas. This fixed my issue in less than 48 hours and honestly gives me a clearer view then the OEM part. That being said, I have not tried it with the mirror heater yet (I suspect that was the cause of my last one falling off) and it has only been a couple months. But for the cost I am happy.

Quality item.
The mirror on our car fell off and my husband called the dealership for a replacement. The price was outrageous, so he started checking around. Indistinguishable from factory
I, like many, experienced the consequences of leaving your mirror heaters on all of the time. VW’s don’t seem to have an auto-off function so the adhesive on the glass will eventually dry out, and your mirror glass will fall out, rather comically.This is a great option to replace the glass for a substantial amount less than a dealer. I was quoted over $200 to replace the glass.This glass just sticks onto the heater element. It’s easy to line up. Pop it back in and you’re good to go.
